Extended car warranty

I answered THIS time - press 1 as this is your final notice to get your interest rate lowered.  A lady wouldn't tell me WHO they were but that they were a "national" company to lower interest rates and lower your debt. I said "I still don't know WHO you are or what company you're with.  She said we help lower your debt, I said "we don't have any debt."  She responded by immediately hanging up on me.

When you call the number back directly, it's a phone number that's been disconnected...

I answered this call, pressed 1 to get a person, asked to be removed from their list and they told me to shut the F up and hang up on me.

I had a similar experience as described above.  I kindly informed them that I did not have a credit card and that they were calling my cell phone and to put me on their 'do not call' list.  They hung up on me.

Wow, I must have found the right board to post on.  I received a call from this company yesterday and spoke with someone and asked for my name to be removed from the list, I was informed that it would take 15 business days to take my name off.  I responded nope, I don't want to wait that long I am already on the Federal DNC list, I want it off now.  I also asked Amanda for her phone number at work.....she didn't know it...hmmm.  I TOLD her to get her supervisor.  Put on hold and then I heard a maam and then a hang up.

Just received a phone call from a man claiming to be "Mark DeCosta", the caller ID mentioned that it was out of the area.  BUT from doing research on the phone number that called me yesterday, I remembered some of the posts that people had stated that they were sworn at and hung up on.

I told "Mark" that I wanted his full name, got it (yeah right).  Asked for the name of his company, then he asked if I would like something else.....like his.....ahem.  I said no, I want the name of your company, he asked if I would like it again and that he could meet me.  When I asked for his name, he asked me mine....like yeah...I am going to tell him.  I volunteer with my local police department and was in the process of calling them, I told him this....then he hung up.

Where's my can of Lysol?!  <shudder>
