same thing has being happening to me today and called 911 up on them oseph Jackeon Law Firm and they said that i had to pay a settlement fee in two hours of 175 dollars or they would take me to court and charge me 150,000 to 250,000 thousand and the number that called me was twice unknown 3345391655

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THE SAME PLACE AND THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY HAD A VERY STRANGE ACCENT SAID THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED AND "DEPORTED" BACK TO MY COUNTRY....WHCH I WAS STUNNED TO HEAR AS I WAS BORN IN MICHIGAN.  SHE SAID HER NAME WAS ROSE GILBERT AND SHE REPRESENTED JOSEPH AND JACKSON LEGAL ASSOCIATES AND BECAUSE MY LAST NAME IS ARMINIAN SHE KNOWS I AM NOT A US CITIZEN AND SHE IS GOING TO SEND THE COPS TO ARREST ME AT WORK AND DEPORT ME....SO OFCOURSE IT RATTELLED MY NERVES AND PISSED ME OFF, I COUNLDN'T BELEIVE HER STUPIDITY AND IGONORANCE. SHE SAID AMERICASH LOANED ME $200 AND HAVE TO PAY  $8700 IF I DON'T WANT TO GET ARRESTED AND DEPORTED...I COULDN'T RESIST AND HAD TO SAY..."DEPORT ME TO WHERE MICHIGAN YOU IDIOT???. I CHECKED WITH MY BACK AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY DEPOSITS OR TRANSACTIONS FROM AMERICASH, HOWEVER I HAVE HAD SUSPICIOUS AMOUNTS TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT FOR SO CALLED "MEMBERSHIP SERVICES" TOTALLING CLOSE TO $500 OVER THE COURSE OF 45 DAYS.  THE SCARY PART IS THAT THEY HAD ALL MY INFORMATION, DOB, SSN, MY WORK INFORMATION.  I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE AUTHORITIES AND HOPE THEY STOP THESE PEOPLE AND THE SCAMS THEY ARE RUNNING I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY HAVE DEFRAUDED WITH THIS SCAM AND HOPE THAT THE AUTHORITIES CAN DO SOMETHING TO STOP THEM FOR GOOD. ALSO, IT WOULDN'T BE A BAD IDEA TO CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNTS OR BANK ALL TOGETHER.

I received a call from the same group but the number was 305-414-7618. They gave me the same story and said I would be arrested tomorrow if I didn't give them $781.00 today. I asked a bunch of questions and every time they said I would have all my answers when I was picked up by the police.
The phone connection was really bad and I could barely understand what they were saying. I looked up Joseph and Jackson Legal online and I found this site. I really hate scammers.

I too received several calls today 3/29/2012 at my job from that same number...harassing me about American Cash loan...something I don't know about and did not see on my recent credit report or bank statement....He called and said his name was Keith Nelson and the company name was Joseph and jackson legal Assoc....and that I needed pay $791.00 today or the I will be arrested and sent to jail and sit until Monday and would have to stand in front of a judge oweing over 8,000 in court cost etc...I was heated that you had that much information on me and calling my job....this is embarrassing and down right wrong...I called the BBB and I filed a complaint. When I asked for information on them he ask me why I want their address...and that I will receive it when the police come and pick me up at my work place...and they also kept insisting to speak to my supervisor and asking me for my lawyer information...like I have a lawyer on retainer.....

anyone can go on those search websites and pay to have any of your information that they want. Those websites should be illegal too. any information that cant be brought up on a regular free google search shouldnt be able to be bought.

I just got this one from SAME people, only phone number was 305-906-3951. he called and I sat right here while he got rude with my boyfriend from the very first minute the call was answered, and then hung up on him. he called yesterday and my boyfriend told him to call back after i got off work and they guy never did. he only calls around noon, while i am at work. today i was off work, so i called him right back and some lady asked my name and i gave it to her, then she asked my bf name and i told her it was none of her business and she told me if i was going to be like that to not call there. then she said hold the line and YELLED across the room my name and some other language SEVERAL times ( lol any office you know of does that?) and it sounded like she scraped the phone on the desk or on her nails a few times before some guy named Keith came to the phone( was a long time on hold). Then he proceeded to ask for my attorneys name so he can send the papers to the attorney and i will be arrested tomorrow AT WORK LOL (yes he said AT WORK) and he hopes i rot behind the bars. so i asked him what for and he said lower your ugly voice at me lady and i told him this is my voice and how i talk and he hung up on me. i called him back and he said APRIL your a rude lady and hung up again! so i called back again and he told me i would be arrested tomorrow and be happy in jail dumb woman. and hung up. i tried to call back again and now it only rings busy. im going to save this number and keep trying to see if it rings again or if they change the number and try to call me again. i will keep doing this back to them no matter how many numbers they get! HOW DO YOU LIKE IT BACK TO YOU???? all i was trying to do was find out WHY he was calling me and he would not say AT ALL. is there any law against these people??? for impersonating a law personnel? there should be!!! there should HUGE penalties against this type of person and harassment. Complaining to the proper channels is getting everyone NO WHERE. all they do is change their number and do it again later. this is the THIRD time someone has tried to scam me in the last 6 months and had all my information. RIDICULOUS!!!

We got the same call threatening my wife with calling the police. I'm glad we found this site after researching his number. Let's hope this will end soon.

they called me to and told me that i was going to get arrested because i took money out with american cash and i checked my account and i didn't..they are lairs.

I received a call from man an Arabian accent on my work line after I didn't answer the number on my cell.  He immediately put me through to some woman named Rose Gilbert who gave me the same story about a warrant for my arrest for an outstanding payday loan.  I viewed my online statement, called her bluff and called the Miami Dade PD and asked about this outstanding warrant she claimed was out there.  When I called the number back to speak with her the Arabian hung up on me.  They claimed the loan was trough one of their 500 affiliants through American Cash and they represented Joseph and Jackson Associates who by the way doesn't exist after doing a legal search of attorneys in Key largo, FL which is where the number orginiated as a residential number.  Beware of this scam.  Where do these people get so much information?

I just received the same call from Ted Cummings. Never accepted such a loan! He said they put it in my account but when I went back to check I never see it! When I asked to speak with the actual attorney he said they were busy. He said that on Monday he was having a marshall sent to my place of business to serve me and place me under arrest and I would be held in a cell until Friday when my case was presented to a judge. This is such bull s***! I am calling the BBB and FTC!

Yeah I just got this call also and when I inquired about the this bull s*** law firm and all the pertinent info so I could file a complaint with Washington DC attorney generals office they hung up on me, everybody's got some kind of b***s*** game their running.

He said his name was Charles White. Called my cell first- I couldn't understand some of what he said but I heard when he said "to protect my credit and safety" I needed to call him and if I did not call then "good luck with what falls on your head." Sounds like threats to me!! I work in the finance business and I have dealt with attorneys before. Bill collectors that are legit do NOT talk to you that way. Apparently he didn't like being ignored. He called my job 9 times in 5 min period after we all (including my boss) told him not to call anymore.  He said he would call me 90 times and kept trying to transfer me to a mgr on his end because he could not tell me what the debt was for. I told him not to bother because I don't have any. He also snapped at me to shut my mouth and kept talking over me. Trying to scam me and he was stupid about it.

They won't leave me alone...never got any money from them.

Same story here. Talked to a Matthew Clark and Ted Cummings who with a name like that had to ask for a spelling since they had very heavy accents. Collected a bunch of information on them and when I asked them for an address so my attorney send them a suit, they called me a fool and hanged up.
Been calling to just harrass them. Payback is a B*&^%$!!!!
I am going to report them to the attorney general of FL and my state of residence.

Got the same call from these people today.  Realized it was b***s***, they called 2 more times, reported to local police, ftc and fbi.  After 3rd call I told them they were reported tried the number back, viola it just rings busy now.

I live in California. I too looked into a payday loan but never got one. He read me an affidavit saying I would be arrested on 3 charges for not paying this loan back. He had all my personal information and said I had received money and named my bank. I argued with him saying I never received any money. He was rude and told me to stop lying I was a thief and would be arrested by local authorities because the state of CA. Has a 0 tolerance law (or something ). I told them send it in the mail so I could foward the info to my attorney he said he can't do that. I told him he was full of it and hung up.  I got so worked up and upset I went back through my bank statement and never got a dime then looked up the number online.  I will be reporting this scam.  So wrong on so many levels.  Ameriloans??

When he called me his name was Charles Martin. I didn't believe a word of what he said because I do know that the police will not pick you up for a debt like this. Your credit would be affected likely, but you would not go to jail. You would get a subpoena to appear in court for a hearing before you could be sent to jail for 30 days as the guy suggested. I knew he was full of S4!+, and told him so! I explained that he better not call me again because I was going to report him for harassment.

Its a scam..call the ftc and bbb..i had the same scenario..don't have anything..and put yourself on the do not call list asap

i received a call from this number from some guy named jim cummings with a thick accent claiming to be representing his client. he said that i had taken out a loan from americash and i never paid it back so i was facing legal charges and that i would be arrested and held for investigation, o yea get this he said i was going to be taken to court friday 3 days after i was going to be served with my papers, what a f****ng  joke they almost had me until i checked my recent transactions on my card an saw that there was no deposit made from americash, they r getting slick be careful
