who is calling and why are they calling me. No mesage is left.

Had Caller Call Not leave any message on Machine I believe someone has sold my Phone Number I have had Numerous calls from ALL over the Country California,New York, Oregon, Florida, Georgia and These people are using a SPOOF CALLER ID when i Address the caller they hang up or try to sell me some Debt Relief Since I Don't have any Debt I tell them they STILL call. others claim Insurance I have gotten to where I now Have to TURN OFF MY RINGER I have in excess of 25 callers calling with OUT-OF-STATE numbers in 1 week last week was 19  I wish there was a way to block ALL out of State Numbers or make a list and say only those people on list could call me that would take care of this HARASSING CALLERS.

this is harassment and i am reporting this to our phone co.or whoever will listen we are also on the "do not call" list

Got TWO calls from these jack-holes today - first one came in right at 9AM, while I had the very rare occasion to sleep in on a day off!  Forgot to hit my CallerID blocker for this number, the another one came in the afternoon@1:30.  So knowing what this outfit was by coming here earlier, decided to answer for the hell of it.
After I had to say "hello" 3 times, some stupid woman finally comes on & asks me by name; I answer & she starts some spiel about "we've talked to you or someone else in your family before, about your diabetes".  I responded "that's impossible, since nobody in my family even HAS diabetes - & take me off your call list1".  Probably caught her off guard because she paused & started saying "WELL..." - but I immediately hung up.  (then DID block this # for good)

I get calls from  this # EVERY DAY.  I disconnect as soon as I see it on caller ID>  Who are they and what the hell do they want????

I get at least two calls a day from this number.  No ID or message.  I would like for them to stop.
Just about the time I get busy doing something the phone rings and it's these people.  They are
becoming a royal pain.

National Independent Lifestyle Association claims to provide free information through their website and newsletter.  To get the information, you need to register.  That means providing them with your phone number and e-mail.  Thier "privacy" policy gives your permission to be contacted via phone by their Affiliated Companies for the purpose of selling to you.

In other words, their Affiliated Companies will be exempt from your "do not call" list.

NILA uses .org in their web address, which suggests that they are not for profit, but I'll bet that their Affiliated Companies are not.

The whole thing sounds perfectly legal and entirely unethical to me.

We have repeatedly gotten calls from the mysterious "Wyoming" number every single day for the last 17 days NONSTOP.  They call at LEAST twice a day and have never said a word when the answering machine comes on. We finally started answering and they STILL wouldnt say anything!
I just answered and a girl went into the spill that its not a sales call, charity call or telemarketing call (which usually means "stay on the phone with me and im still gonna try to swindle you outta something")....  I was able to find out this....  The phone number is for National Independent Lifestyle Association.... www.NILA.gov is the website.   Their site says ".......It is the mission of the National Independent Lifestyle Association (NILA) to enhance the overall health and quality of life of the aging population, 50 years of age and older, throughout the United States by providing valuable news, information, events, and healthcare benefits to each of our members........."  I informed the girl on the phone that we are on the do not call list and she started to get ugly. I then told her to stop calling because they are repeatedly harassing us....  she said "You need to stop yelling at me"  I said "look I aint yelling.... THIS IS YELLING!  NOW STOP CALLING BEFORE I CALL THE FTC!".  The calls have stopped.

Got the call from this number.  They are well protected as to who they are.

I am on do not call list, but these people call every day. They never leave a message.

No clue who calls from Wyoming.  Its annoying

Second call this week - they do not leave message on answering machine. The caller ID on phone says "WYOMING" at our phone here in Florida.

This is a new number for me, haven't had any calls from that one before. They say nothing, and leave no message. We get calls all day and evening from all over the country, and have stopped answering. If they don't identify themselves when the caller ID comes on, we don't want to talk to them!

numerous calls from this number for weeks! i also get tons of calls from various 866 numbers. it seems more and more of these calls are being made. i don't understand it since i am on the do-not-call list. i'm really sick of it....

If you report them to the FTC and they get enough cpmplaints, they will put a stop to it. FTC 877 382 4357

I keep getting calls from this #. several times a day many times.  They do not leave a message. Who are they and what do they want? I am on the no call list, guess that doesn't mean anything, also my phone # is supposed to be unlisted.
