It is a scam.  They are threatening arrest, coming to a persons workplace and all kinds of illegal things.  Report them, let them have it and by all means, pay them nothing!

He has changed his number to 219-440-6295. He called me today and had me in tears. He told me if I didn't pay $250 dollars with a greendot package that I would be arrested then I was reading this. I am filing a police report due to the fact he threatened me and he is playing dumb and if u receive a phone call do not fall for it. He sounds like he is from India and is running a scam. He will tell u this stuff is through American Payday Loans. Do not fall for it and report it immediately.

I got a call from the same number and actually spoke to someone with a heavy accent. He claims I owe money for a pay day loan. What happens is, they steal your identity from the internet. They put a virus on your computer that mimicks your keystrokes so they can see what your looking at on the internet. I've gotten calls from this and another number. Both times the person has an accent and claims they will send the police to my home to arrest me or at my place of employment and I will lose my job. And one of the people left a message saying "good luck".

Received the call, also called a family member who paid them with moneypak. Called to verify receipt and was told would need more money. They claim they will refund the money and proceed with charges but I don't believe I will ever see the money. The number they gave to to verify was supposedly Transunion but reverseclookup shows it is a cell phone.

Just got a calkl from them again and this time the man was very disrespectful ask was i a w***e and told me that i was a call girl and that he wanted me for one night. i will be filingi a report on this number

same for me called my job and almost got me fired! people need to get off the lazy a***s and get real jobs!

I got a phone call today saying that my job was on the line if I did not pay them almost $7000. How can thia in any way be legal? I have never taken a payday loan and in AZ payday loans no longer exist! What can I do to get them to stop calling me?

Yo this crap is hilarious...he keeps calling and keeps calling so I finally said "F**k it...I called them started doing the same thing to them...he gets mad and calls me a black n****r so I asked did he have a mother and was like I know you do I F**ked her last nite...and just kept yelling in his ear "CALL ME DADDY...LUKE I AM YOUR FATHER....CALL ME DADDY....man If only they would answer again...they know now not to call me...im not that stupid...

Im so glad to hear im not the only one having this problem.. i have to admit at first i was pretty scared the left me a message saying "good luck" and when i called them back he was very rude and transfered me to another person who said the police would be at my house in a few days and i would be taken to court.. today they called my job 3 times and said the same thing.. the guy on the phone wouldnt tell me the companys name he was calling about or give me a number for me to reach them directly. all i can do is wait and see if the police show up at my house or not.....

I also received the message and told them not to call me again.  They said I was swearing and told them not to call again.  They did this long time ago and called work number,

Like the others on here Kendra, caveman, jazzy, meza2636, warren and so on.......This James Sanderson told me all he told you guys....I commited fraud, stold the money since I didn't pay back the loan, that my state's police was informed and I was going to be arrested....this really scared me....I want to know if this is really a collections agency potraying to be a law firm when they are not and if they are it is not right to represent yourself under false pretense......Can someone help me here??????

These are the worst people in the world!!!!  They contacted me and said they would send the police if they did not get paid in 24 hours. I NEVER had or took out a loan in my life. I was very scared and appalled in how they spoke to me.

This same number called me at MY WORK saying the same thing that I took out a loan with them and threatened me with being arrested for fraud if I didnt pay them $500 today!!! I know this place is a scam but dont know what to do from here, any advice?

They done the same to me i check my account dont even have anything from american payday loan from the time they said he got really made and said i will be picked up friday at my work for this

A guy called me from this ficticious company yesterday stating the cops would be at my door this morning to pick me up. I told him I am an attorney and I know the law and if he felt he could do this, then go right ahead. I'm very pissed he knew all my information, ss#, home address, work (he left me a message there too), bank account number, etc. I will be contacting the Attorney General for the State of Texas as soon as they open this morning.

the same thing happened to me first they left a voicemail saying they need it to discuss a legal matter if i didn't respond today then good luck to ya. So i call and  this guy with heavy Indian accent pick up and said legal something firm then i asked what this call is regarding about saying about a cash loan i took that is past due for 250 and 500 that was deposited im my account saying i owed them money and if i didn't pay the a sheriff was going to my home and workplace to served me because i had a law suit against me so i can show up to court and possibly be arrested and sent to jail up to 6months if i didn't settle this immediately and when i ask for what account was it they made up some other account name then they said something about i took out and unsecured loan and they kept changing it around and they transfer me to another Indian guy who was rude and couldn't explain much in detail when i ask to mail the charges that i been accused off then he said something like if i dont want things to court before he files this lawsuit then we can do an O C C and said that is basically paying 512 court legal cost and said if i don't pay then i will be arrested on Monday and taking to court in front off a judge and i said how can i pay you when i have no letter no proff of this charges that i am being accused off and he said then will see you in court and go file this lawsuit against you and hung up on me!! will see who gets aressted im hiring a detective and getting the F B I involved

Yes got the Same thing called me had my info yes I had a loan with the stuff they charged me with but told me to pay 100 through money pack green dot stupid I did now dnt know what to do guy named Ryan king from dodds law firm this is crazy!!!! They also threatened to are rest me from work don't fall for it like I did!!!

I just had the same thing happen. They said they will come and pick me up from my work or home if i did not pay the money back, and had my name, date of birth, and social security number...its really creepy, and im not sure what to do about it.

Got the same thing a few minutes ago.  I told him I was going to contact my local police department and he said no need I will be arrested on Monday.  Last time I checked even if I did owe the $200 he is stating police don't just show up to arrest you.  I would recommend keeping an eye on your bank accounts, I had this happen a few years ago and somehow they had my checking account number as well.

Just got a call from the Indian dude saying on monday I'll be arrested. They have law suite agents mi.

Just to verify, the caller wasn't actually Dodds Law Firm, but they're using that name to make themselves seem legitimate.

I get these calls too, last year it happened and I called the police.  They said they are scammers and what they are doing is phishing, they aren't even in the country.  They told me to register this scam on a federal website call IC3??  I think thats what it was.  When they called recently I told them what I was told and they told me I was correct and they know what they're doing, he also called me a bi*** and said he would call whenever he felt so I need to change my number!  What a dick!
