Another hangup call from this obviously spoofed # 1-27-14 at 2:16 pm

Getting a call from this number daily.  Can't add to my block call list because TWC will not accept a invalid prefixed phone number.  The phone companies should try to fix this problem.  My work around is, do not answer this call.

I've recently been getting hang up calls from this invalid number.  AT&T CNAME says Name Not Found.  In the North American Numbering Plan, prefixes never start with 0 or 1.  Added to my call blocker blacklist.

There was no area code on this caller ID. Just 184-7857. A woman asked for us by name and said they wished to do us a service. And said they were in the area doing home improvement, both inside and out. I stopped her and said "we won't be needing your services. So please take us off your list". She replied "we do not have a list. We were referred by someone in your area." I asked who that would be. She said "are you calling me a liar". I replied that I guess I was.  Then she proceeded you call me a "b----". What good telephone manners!!!

I have received several calls from this number. Yesterday they finally stated they were from IN and Out Design. I told them to remove my number from their list for all the good that will do.

I received a call from that number this afternoon and the guy on the other end said something about being on my street tomorrow and would give me an estimate for painting my house. I told him the house doesn't need painting and to remove my number from his list which I doubt will happen, I know I'll hear from them again in the near future.

Called when I was not here, no message left.  Obviously a spoofed number.

These are really annoying.

I think unsolicited telephone solicitation should be illegal and somehow enforceable.

I filed a formal online complaint with the FCC.  I do that several times a week.  If tens of thousands of people file them, maybe the FCC will do something about it.....maybe.

Filed a police report giving this invalid number that cannot be blocked.

I'm getting calls from 310-184-7857 and 310-154-8795. I've filed a police report giving the numbers. Also redialed and got "invalid number." Can't block invalid numbers and the phone company has no record of these calls.  Annoying to say the least.

You can't stop them cuz crooks don't care about the laws or the ridiculous Do Not Call registry (which is our government's biggest joke of the century).  Just stop answering calls with no I.D. or that you don't recognize.  If it's important, they will leave a message.  If it's more scammers and robo-automatic-dialers, who cares.

I work in a private residential home.  I receive 4 to 5 calls per day from this number.  They say they are in the Malibu area doing free estimates for construction projects.  No matter how many times they call, I tell them I am not interested and they call back several times a day and sometimes within a few minutes! They are always rude, no matter how politely I say "no"...I'm SO OVER these people and am filing complaints until it stops.

We just got a call from these people, and we knew something wasn't right so we did a search on them, there was nothing, so we asked them questions, they wouldn't give us any info, said she won't give me info or any details to the questions i had as she has a very busy schedule and got annoyed with us an hung up on me. DEFINITELY scammers!!!

Number just called. I answered. Heard a lot of mumbling, garbled on the other side. Had no conversation. then they disconnected.  no message.

keeps calling. but I won't answer...

I'm on do not call list but still get this--I look at caller ID--have never answered this #  What good does registrating  on do not call list  do????

called again today 5pm.  Left no message.  Spoofed number - called back number - does not exist!

Just called me.  Somehow they get past the Ooma blocklist.  I told them I was interested and gave them the address of the Carson Sheriff's station.  Should be interesting.

missed call/no msg. This is the 3rd time they've called.... On to the blocked call list

a lady just called from this number and my mother picked up the phone (for some odd reason)... she asked if we painted the house recently and that someone will be in the area to do estimates.

my mom said that it's her sons house and it doesn't need to be painted. the lady started screaming saying "go back to your country" and "stupid foreigner"!!

my mom has a little accent but nothing ever to warrant such an abusive person. she is now visibly upset that someone would say that to her.

Another hangup call from these scammers with the spoofed number today at 912 am today.

She introduced her self as Mrs. Allen! calling for Jennifer! Stop calling, you are not going to get anything from me.  Five Months of trying....you should get it by now.   STOP

I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. I get about 5 or 6 calls per day from all over the country. Sometimes when I answer they don't even say anything. I guess they're just trying to find out who answers. I'm sick of these calls and wish I could block them.

I guess this is the next scam number to call me.  Clearly spoofed as 184 is not a valid prefix.  I let my machine pick up.  Lots of silence recorded after the beep.

hello may I speak to your husband I replied may I take a message they then replied I guess your not the mrs and I said I guess your not going to leave a name and a message so I can have someone call you back and with a nasty voice she said that she would call back.

Just got a call from this number (310-184-7857) and a man with a slight accent and sounds of other people operating a phone bank in the background.  

He said "sorry for calling but I'm calling from In and Out Design and we are going to be in your area in the next week on (name of my street) and we are giving estimates for ..." I interrupted and asked where this company was located?  He said "on Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana".   I said that's NOT in my area and I'm on the do not call list.  He apologized again and I said "don't apologize, just don't call." and then I hung up.

There is no such company, btw, on the street in the city where he said.
