I had the same experience. They've called me twice. It's apparently a scam. I wish I knew how to stop it.

Just received a call from 310-202-4320. 6:43pm 11/18/2008 I answered the call & there was silence on the line. I said hello several times and nothing.

Yup, just received a call from this number, googled it, and found this website. Called back and it's out of service. B*****ds.

wow, it seems like this number started to call people very recently, starting from november 18 or little earlier. So, i got a call this morning on Sunday at 10:27am but i didn't pick up. It seemed weird because it wasn't my area code so I went online to find out what area code it was from. Then I got to this site. It sounds like one of the dirty telemarketer who calls people anytime.

Another call from this number but this time just dead air. Better that the one I received on 19 Nov but still an irritation.

The same thing just happened to me, it's weird.

Have received several calls from this number: 310-202-4320. No one on other end, even when answered on second or third ring. Will report to FTC.

I've had calls from this number on two different phone lines. They must be systematically calling every possible phone number, one by one. I hope they all die in a car fire.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone on Nov. 25. After I said hello music started playing. I hung up. (I don't have minutes to waste). When I called back on my land line it just rang and rang.

Yup. They are checking for the lines that are connected and have real people answering them. Junk. They hung up on me after answering, too. Called back, and it's a bogus number.

Called by this company at 2:21PM today. At first there was a recorded message about improving credit and/or credit rating for $39 per week. When I attempted to talk to a supervisor to be removed from their list (I am already on the national DO-NOT-CALL lists) the person acted like they were unable to hear me. She said "hello, hello" then disconnected. I called the FCC and FTC to report this call. I was told that this type call is an attempt to get personal information for ID theft or fraud.
Telemarketing calls can be reported to the FCC but this type call should be reported to the FTC.

what scam are you talking about?
| Chick 2008-11-19 21:11:26 Unknown |
Same thing here. I got a call this morning at 10:43am., it went to voicemail, but no message was left and when I tried to call it back I got the same message as all of you above - it is disconnected or no longer in service. What scam are you talking about?

I got a call from 310-202-4320 at 10:48 AM this morning as well. This sounds like the same people involved in the attempted bank / wire fraud and identity theft I found yesterday. If I had to guess, this is probably associated with the charge from GFDL for 19 cents. This is a scam - be careful!

Receive call today at 9:28am from this number (310-202-4320). I answered on the third ring. There was no sound on the other end, and after about 8 seconds, the call disconnected. I called the number back about 2 minutes later, but heard the "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service" official message. WTF?
