My visa was charged $4.95 by MFBPSITE.COM in California. No clue who these people are or what this charge is for. May be tied to triple advantage credit card monitoring.

Why am I being charged 4.95 a month on my debit card. I have no clue as to who you are

I got a $2.95 charge on my debit card. I have no idea who this is or how they got my debit card info.

I had charges on my credit card from mfbpsite.com as well, that also correlated with my equifax reports that I had recently purchased.  I contacted equifax immediately to stop their services and the unknown charges stopped.... I wish something could be done.

Never recieved a call, but was charges 4.95 to my bank account on 5/22/08.  Had to cancel my debit card. When I called the number provided, 310 237 6452 i got the same message, an asian lady saying its customer service. I have experian too... this is crazy!

Same here. I have a 4.95 charge this month on a card I hardly ever use, I used it for Equifax since they couldn't recognize my debit card. I called my card issuer and they said there was another charge back in Dec for 4.95 that I already paid for.

I received a charge of 4.95 on 4/28/8 on my credit card. I'm going to call my bank and get a refund and new card. It's listed as Mfbpsite.com 310-237-6452 Ca.

No call recieved from 310-237-6452; however, my visa card was charged $4.95 for no apparent reason by MFBPSITE.COM in California.

I didn't get a call, but I do have an equifax account also and I was charged on 11/15/07 and I called the number and left a voice mail, I did get a call back and I was refunded the money on 11/19/07.  I haven't gotten any other charges from MFBPSITE but I did get charged on 12/31/07 by EST COMPANY for 9.35, I've called them today and left a message, don't know if I'll get a refund there.

I didn't get a telephone call from this number, but a charge of $4.95 from mfbpsite.com 310-237-6452 was made to my debit card on 3/6/08.  I wouldn't have noticed it, except for the fact that I signed up for alerts offered by my bank, about 8 months ago.  In searching my account over the last year for this same charge, I found they had also "stolen" $4.95 from me in October 2007.

I urge everyone to not stop at reporting this to your bank or credit card company.  File a complaint with your state's attorney general and with the BBB.  This is a scam and it needs to be stopped.  $4.95 isn't a lot of money to many of us but, when one thinks of the untold thousands being victimized by this scam, it is evident that some crooks are rich at our expense.

no call but had a charge of 4.95 on bank statement-i don't have equifax-and if i have ever had used it, it was years ago.  cancelled bank card and was issued a credit. never was able to get a hold of any body at this number and web page comes up 'under construction' but when i went to the web site that it says is being hosted by (TartanSpace.com ) it's completely forgien text!

Didn't receive a call from them. But a charge of 6.95. May of 2007 I purchased a credit report through Equifax with my visa, and that card was charged on 2/18 by mfbpsite.com with this phone number 310-237-6452. I was heated, and pissed! Thank God, they didn't wipe me out!. How in the HELL can this crap happen to me I said? I've googled everything, and found the common denominator is EQUIFAX. I'm filing a complaint with everybody. I called the number, and of course got the homemade voice recording. I've filed an affidavit my card company. Never has something like this happened to me. It sux major... This has to stop!!!!

Just got off of the phone with Equifax and they said that they are aware of the situation and their security department is already investigating the company.  Needless to say I will be cancelling that service as well as my debit card.  Nice that the people I pay to protect my credit seem to have contributed to screwing it up.

I received a charge from this website on my debit card for $4.95.  I also have equifax credit monitoring.  I did not get a call from this company, just had the charge show up on my bank statement.  cancelled my bank card.  Whew!!

I had the same thing, and recently ordered a credit report from Equifax. I also had a charge for $9.35 from EFT Company.

My info has been stolen and this site charged $4.95.  And yes, i also have an Equifax subscription.

ITS A RIP OFF AND A SCAM. I GOT CHARGED 4.95 ALSO DEC 22. I HAD EQUIFAX CREDIT WATCH. I BET MANY OF YOU HAVE EQUIFAX CREDIT WATCH TOO. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE COMMMON COMPANY. CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND CALL YOUR BANKS. EQUIFAX EITHER HAS SOMEONE ON THE INSIDE STEALING INFO, THEIR SELLING INFO TO 3RD PARTY COMPANIES OR THEY HAVE BEEN HACKED AND ARE TOO STUPID TO KNOW EITHER WAY THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR INFO.

I have Equifax.  Got charged on Dec. 14.  Same website.  Recieved no call.  Got the phone number from my credit card company.

Can any of you tell me if you use EQUIFAX Monitoring with the card that has these charges?

Have any of you considered reporting this number to the police???  If they are charging your credit card without your knowledge, it's a felony.

I was charge $4.95 today as well. No clue how or what it is for. If anyone figures it out please let me know.
