I am in Maryland and I hae gotten two calls from 310-241-0648.  My husband had answered both times and he tells them I am not there. He asks what the call is regarding and they say "no message" and hang up.  Does anyone know anything more?

I just put a comment on today March 31st as Texas resident and if someone would respond and let me know by put a comment on for this number          310-241-2969 . My question is my cell phone carrier is Sprint does any one else with a Sprint service get these same calls. I wonder if this could be related to Sprint customers. I've known of some possible scams going on with Sprint customers in the past 2 weeks.

I have received multiple calls from 310-241-2969.  It is a scam and that is what everyone should understand.  Every call that I have received has been a hangup.  I will dial right back and it will ring one time, ring non-stop, or be busy.  I have never spoken to anyone.  I am a T-Mobile customer.  I have registered my phone with the National Do Not Call list and yet these calls persist.  Beware, it is nothing but a scam.

I am a T-Mobile customer, and I just received 2 phone calls one right after the other from 310-241-2969. I rejected the first call, becuase I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and the same number immediately called back. They did not leave a message either time.

310-241-2969 called claiming I won 48 months of 6 free magazines and a change to win a car or cash in December.  I just had to help with the circulation of a magazine for $3.95 a week.  The company claimed to be Publishers Headquarters out of San Pedro CA.

Said my bank or CC company entered me into a sweepstake and out of 10,000 entries,I won.  Part of the prize is 48 months of several magazines.  When I asked them to send me info because I don't do business over the phone she said that she would remove me from her prize list.

I got 3 calls from 310-241-2969 on March 31st .The first call they acted like tellemarketers then the woman got no where with me and the she got very rude I set her strait and then told her don't call my phone again and hung up.
Then the same woman called me right back but blocked her number and cussed me then hung up. A hour passed and a man called and called me also from a blocked number and acted about the same way the woman did and knew my name and where I lived and pacific info about my house. And said that they was coming to my house. I went down to my local police station and filed charges.I've called the number back but at times the phone rings and rings and other times the line is busy. I found out some info on this number it's belived to belong to one Carmen Vidal 704 S. Pacific Ave. San Padro, CA. 90731. I had a Friend in California go to this address and its some thing like an apartment building and found nothing out.But beware this is a scam, also I found out that theres a lot more numbers associated with this number they inclued but not limited to these numbers. 310-241-0648 310-241-0165

Same as DT in April  "I recieved a call from this number today , and they claim that I was selected as a finalist in their prize drawing for a vacation or something like that. The lady stated that my credit card company or my Bank had entered me into the drawing for being one of their preferred customers."   They wanted info form me for their advertising.  I laughed and told them no bank or credit card company would do that and no resposible person would give out personal information.

I have been getting calls from 310/241-2969 on my cell phone.  I read all of the complaints and information on this site, and proceeded to call my cell company.  They stated that the reason for the constant busy signal when I tried back, is that the calls are coming from a dialer, and it's only purpose is placing outbound calls.  They also stated that most often on the caller ID these types of people/scams cover up the real number they are calling from.  My phone company ran a search and at this time the above number is the real number.  They were able to block it for free for 60days and will be following up with my afterwards to ensure I haven't received any further calls.  They also do an investigation on reported numbers.

I have received calls from this number time and time again over a number of weeks maybe even a month or more. I finally looked up the number on Google and found a plethora of complaints! When the number called me again today I told the girl I knew she was a scammer and a liar. She denied denied denied and then hung up on me. Believe it or not she called back! What an annoyance. I tried to call back and the number rang until an automated message told me the cell number was not reachable at this time and to try my call again later. Beware!

Did you ever receive your watch?
A lady from "California" called me on my cell phone while I was at work.  I answered the phone because I'm not the world's greatest about recognizing area codes.  The number that called was 310-241-2969.  The lady told me I was a preferred customer reported by my bank or credit card company.  I was a finalize and to mark my calendar for May 31st.  I would be entered to win a trip for 2 to Australia or $25,000 cash.  She wanted to send me a men's diamond leather watch.  When she called she knew my exact address and my name.  Not sure where she got this from.  Then she started on a spill about a magazine subscription - told me it was just $3.90.  I started quizzing her on how long and she said weekly for 48 months, but they don't want to bug me everyweek so they would send me a monthly statement.  I told her I was interested and I said so you are telling me I don't owe anyone anything.  She said no and said good luck and promptly hung up.  I've tried calling the number back but it just stays busy.  She does have my age and address.  Can she do anything with that?  Once I wasn't interested in the magazines, our conversation was basically over.  Do you think I'm okay with the info she has?  Your phone call seemed very similiar.

Your bank does not enter you into contest. They are not allowed to. You have to be the only one to enter it and if I put my name in a contest I dam well would remember. I always right down all contest I enter and I also look up there web sites to make sure thet are legit! Don,t even put your birthday or your yearly income. Scams don,t need your credit card info any more. All they need is your first name and your last and the state you live in. For more info email me at elainepayne222@yahoo.com. I will prove to you that is all that a person would need to be you!

The lady stated that my credit card company or my Bank had entered me into the drawing for being one of their preferred customers. I didn't tell her anything. She said she would be sending me a watch with Diamonds in it to keep with a 2 yr warranty in 3-5 business days. She asked me if I wanted any magazines and I said no and she hung up. I figured it was probably a scam.

I've gotten calls from this number about 5 times.  When I answer, they tell me they are calling long distance, congratulating me for being entered into a drawing for a 2008 Chevy Blazer or a cash prize.  When I asked how they got my information, they told me I was entered by my bank. They asked me to verify my info, when I wouldn't and told them to remove my # they hung up.  Now each time they call, I tell them to remove my # from their system and they hang up on me every time!

I am experiencing the same problem as Littleton!  I refuse to answer this number because I don't know who it would be!  They never leave a voice message either!  I am growing tired of these calls!  For me, they average four or five calls a week!  If it is important they will leave a message!  I am on the National do not call list and if I find out it is a Tele-marketing I will turn them in immediately!!!
