We received a call from this number at 8:10 a.m. our time today.  It was only identified as "Englewood, CA.  That would be 5:10 a.m. their time.  This is not the first time we've received these calls before 9:00 in the morning.  We never answer.  Wish they would stop!

Have received calls from this number numerous times over the past several days, at various times of the day.  Most recently was this morning.  Only comes up on Caller ID as "Inglewood, CA" and hangs up as soon as the VM answers.  I never answer or return these calls but that doesn't make them any less annoying.

Got a call from these miserable nuts who must need a lot of attention so they call at 8:00 A.M. Am already up but the laugh is on them i don't answer the phone.

Called at 8 AM. Nobody on the line. PIA.

Received a call on 7/2/13. They did not leave a msg. Now blocked.

I received a call from this number today. They stated they were the fire fighters benevolent Society and were looking for donations. I told them to send me some mailing showing there name and organization location. Since they had my name and phone number they should have my address also. They claimed they did not!!
When I said that this call smells of fraud and I would check there number out they hung up. Block this number ASAP!!!

robo call - ignore it!

Received a call from this number on 1/8/2013.  Nobody spoke on their end.  I called the number back and got a recorded message from "one of the nation's leading children's charities or fundraising organizations" - the recorded message suggested that I press 1 and leave my phone number and follow their menu.

These little butt wipes called me at 8:30 this morning, I didn't recognize the number so I sent it to voicemail and they left no message. Caller ID says Inglewood, CA. I blocked the number for whatever good that will do, they call from any other number they want too....b*****ds!

I'm in Georgia and the call comes in as "Local Call Area".  Obvious scam; they are spoofing the number.

The call is from someone representing a "Firefighters Benevolent Society" asking for donations.  He was told once already no and then called back again.

I received a call from this number and it says "California".  They asked for Isabelle.  I told them there was nobody here by that name.  Apparently they call regularly and I tried to call them back but they don't answer but prompt you to leave them your number so someone will call you back.  This was Sunday afternoon.

I regularly receive calls from groups collecting donations for firefighters.  Often they are extremely rude. I simply couldn't believe a firefighter would treat people that poorly, and so I called the fireman's association directly to ask if they were aware that potential donors were being verbally abused.  They said that while they contract with telemarketing groups, their association in fact receives barely a thing -- less than 10% (the rest goes to the telemarketer).  If you really want to give a donation to these outstanding men and women you can send it directly to their association.  100% will go toward equipment and assisting the families of injured or deceased firefighters.

They call but don't talk

Received a call this morning from this number but they hung up once it went to voice mail. I have blocked the number so they can't call from this number again here.

It's a call center for various things.  The second call was from someone claiming to be calling on behalf of a "chairity" calling itself "Firefighters Benevolent Society".  There is NO SUCH CHAIRITY registered with the State of Ohio's Attorney General.  I've reported the number to both Ohio A.G. and California where the call originated.  I only wish that the phone company that licensed the phone bank where these nuissance calls come from would be able to be held liable for fraudulent calls like this.

Calling almost everyday for the last 3 months, no answer on the other end or robotic sounds. At last we were able to find out the number and we called back, we got a robot telling us "we tried to contact you earlier from the Fundraising Calling Center with a message from one of the Nation Children's organizations, blah blah". Funny thing, every time we have been answering there was nobody on the line. We blocked the number and we are reporting it to Do Not Call.
