9:51 am 3-11-14.  Hangup call from what looks to be a DNC-violating scammer.  

Called a female voice and asked if this is me by name (correct one). Then hang up. I tried to call back but it was "disconnected or no longer in service"

Lorraine Nagel has been calling for about six months now. I have reported her to the Do Not Call Registry and to my representative in Washington, D.C. For grins I dialed her number. The first time it was a man's recorded voice to please leave a message. The next time the number was disconnected no longer in service. The third time it was a circuit problem and please try my call again later. This was all in the span of a couple of minutes. Either there are a lot of people trying to call Lorraine right now, or she is desperately trying to changer her answering machine message!

Mr. Lester Senior at the FTC in Washington D.C. handles telemarketing fraud. He called me back personally and was very helpful.

Caller ID lists as "V12810243900001".  

Whenever I see this type of Caller ID tag, I assume it's a telemarketer and don't even answer!

Its not CSI on TV, it doesn't get solved in a hour.  The DNC doesn't protect you from the criminals, illegal Telemarketers, extortionist and frauds. It only keeps honest business's honest.  Most never bothered to even read it, they have assumed it covered everything and it doesn't.  And the calls do need reported also..

You are absolutely correct.  The DNC list is a scam by the gubermint to shut you up and make you think they give a damn about you...they don't.  Just keep sending them your money (taxes)!

This number called my house; since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer it; they didn't leave a message so probably telemarketers; so glad for this website nd the valuable contributions of the posters!

We got a call on our landline but when I picked up, there was no one there.

I tried calling the number back on my cell phone and got the "We're sorry, this number is no longer in service"

I firmly believe the the Do Not Call list is only an appeasement.  there is no enforcement behind it. I regularly get the same telemarketing calls over and over again, including this one, and I'v been on the Do Not Call list since it's inception. However, I was able to contact my phone company on-line (in this case ATT) and was able to manually block up to 10 numbers.  Worked for awhile, until 10 more new telemarketers started calling!  UGH!

I am on the no call list. I receive many calls from this number. Last time just 5 minutes ago.

I'm interested in what you did, can you go into more detail?  You wrote to whom?  (FTC...?)  Can you give address?  Maybe we should all write to this FTC.  What was their reply?  Is Nagel taken care of?  I get a phone call from "her" every single day, hang-up.  I'm willing to be proactive here.  Thanks!

im so freaking tired of LN calling and leaving no msg or i pick up and "it " hangs up. Where is my satisfaction? i cant even swear at her/him....... what can i do?  they apparently get away with ... there is no such no, pls try your call again...like im making a mistake

I received a letter and a return phone call from Mr. Jealous with the FTC in Washington, D.C.

I just received a call from 'Unknown Name'  310-326-6592. He said his company's name is "Crest Painting". I asked him for his License # ... & he did not give it to me. He said that he was going to call & find out why I was on his list. I looked up Crest Painting & they are listed in Dallas, Texas. I believe that guy was a scam. Probably not from Crest Painting Company. That God for this website to check out the number.

I blocked this number and they still call.... robo-call?1?

They call and hangup on my machine every day. Today I decided to call them back 2 seconds after they called me to tell them to leave me alone and the number is "Disconnected". No surprise there. What kind of business operates out of an office where the customer can't call them??????

Numerous calls daily from this number, 310-326-6592 Loraine Nagle... I have a caller I.D. so I do not answer, today the caller yelled at my answering machine "why don't you pick up the damn phone ?

This guy is a real idiot !!!
