Once again, a telemarketer working for a contracting service. I've had many calls exactly like this one ever since I bought cabinets from Lowes.

Same thing here. Called 3 sep. times... all the same, dead air, no noise, nothing. I don't answer calls anyway... so, unless I know who it is, the machine gets it. If it continues, I will have my phone provider reject the call ($5.00 to activate). Sketchy for sure.

I just received another phone call that just hung up on me from 310-578-1706 at approx. 1:22pm on 6/2/11.  When I dial the phone# back, the recording says, "the number...has been disconnected"

Got another call that went to voice mail.  This time phone number was 310-578-1706.  They left two messages - nothing but dead air.

I just got the same thing except the caller identified himself as Keith and tried to schedule a home improvement appointment.  He was an older low income black male.   He also tried to keep me on the phone and did not identify the company he worked for.  I get telemarketing calls all the time and never felt my hair stand up as this did.  I am reporting the call to Orange County Sheriff's fraud dept to look into and suggest you call your local police dept as well.  Did he use a family relative's name by chance?  This caller has called our home several times in the last several days and when I call the phone# provided, the number states that it is disconnected.

Same thing happened to me. Tried calling back and no answer. Just wondering how they got my number in the first place since I live about 2 hours outside Los Angeles. (I'm assuming the 310 area code is in the LA area)

JUST GOT THAT EXACT SAME THING.

Getting several missed calls on my home phone from 310-327-8340, but no messeages. I finally answered and someone by the name Frank came on after a few seconds. Backround sounded like he was in a telemarketing office. He told me that he had time to stop by my house and take a look at that leaky roof. I told him i didn't know what he was talking about and maybe he had the wrong number because i have a new roof. Then he said what about the work i need done in the garage. I told him i don't need anything done to my house, He tried to keep me on the phone and insisted that i have to have some kind of work for him to fix.....i finally hung up on him. I am positive this was some kind of scam....i called the number back and got a disconnect recording....
