I did the *57 trace and called the Qwest number for reporting harassing phone calls.  They said they cannot take deterrent action if the phone call does not originate from one of their customers' numbers and told me to contact my local law enforcement.  I'm fairly certain the police in my city have other things to do than track down a scam artist calling from God
knows where.  I put the number on a "Call Rejection List" so I don't have to deal with it.

I already order them at http://www.skyrxshop.com/ they are a trusted online pharmacy!

I ordered some Ambien online (I did NOT know it was illegal to do so) -- 30 pills for $ 88. That was last week. Today I received a call from 856-102-36841 and they left a message stating they were the police and I can serve 15 years in prison and a $ 20K fine. He also said that the pills would be shipped to my local police department. I tried to call the number back that he called from and got a "disconnected" number. The number he left on the voicemail was different - 41445867415 -- well, 414-458-6741 is in Wisconsin and also a "disconnected" number. I then put a "1" in front of it and still got a "disconnected" number. It will be interesting to see if I actually get my pills or not. However, now that I know it's illegal, I sure will NEVER order any more!

One would figure that with all of the tentacles of the "US Gov't" stretching across the globe, that by this point in time there would be a stinger shot from a drone plane right into these telephone terrorist's hideout. What in the hell is the problem with the US Gov't here? For them to claim that they are "protecting" anything is completely absurd. Have you noticed the 10's of thousands of complaints that are posted about these harassers? And what has the "Intelligence" community done about it? Absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!

My wife and I have been receiving these phone calls for the past two months now, everyday sometimes twice or three times a day.  They always ask for "Michael" and no matter how I tell them they have the wrong number, they continue to harass us.  At one point, I got on the phone and asked who the hell they were and why they were harassing us, and the guy on the phone said "I am calling you because I want to f*ck your wife"!!

This is out of control, and we need to find a way to stop this.

We have also received these calls repeatedly.  The caller ID numbers are always different and sometimes blocked.  I have repeatedly told them we do not want their calls.  Most times, they simply hang up but a few have argued with me!  One said I had to tell them WHY we didn't want the calls.  Today, one told me I had to change my phone number to stop their calls.  No one will give me the company name or contact info.  We are on the DoNotCall Registry but how can we complain when we have no information about the callers!

Ditto........
First, write down the name of the company, the state they are calling from and ask for the name of the person you are speaking with.  If they have not hung up by now, let them know that you are going to report them to their State Attorney General's office for harassment.   Then file the complaint.  The calls will either slow down or stop with any of the above actions.

I have been receiving these calls for a couple months now, sometimes they call repeatedly during the day just to figure out what time you are most likely to answer. Screw with them, every time they call. Don't treat them like a legitimate business caller. Ruin their day, make it an annoying waste of time to call you. Eventually they will decide it is a waste of time and money to continue making these calls.  This is organized crime in the digital age, whatever you do, just don't give them any further information about yourself.

I am a US citizen but originally from India. India has one of the the most corrupt and the least law-abiding society. Don't be fooled by the recent information technology boom, but that has influenced a miniscule fraction of its populace.
I too am being hounded by these shameless Telemarketeers from India. My phone is on Do Not Call List here, and I told them. India too has its own Do Not Call Registry. They know it very well, but again they do it because our laws don't apply to them when they call from their country. They were trying to sell Dish Network, ADT, and some other US brands here. However, a majority of phone calls to me are about calling card to India, etc. I told them that I have nothing to do with India; I have no body in India, but they just won't listen.
I made a complaint to FCC about Dish Network, and they apologized to me in writing. However, after a year somebody again called in the name of Dish Canada. I would still suggest:
1. If your phone is on Do Not Call List, please make a complaint to the FCC if the caller wants to sell anything from US.
2. There is no need for any political correctness, abuse these telemarketeers as harshly as you can.

I have been getting these calls non stop also! I have told them about 20 times to quit calling. On one occassion they called me and told me they were the police and on their way to my home! I asked why and the guy lied and said I threatened "death" upon him. I could hear another guy in the background feeding him what he should say. That is going WAY TOO FAR! I figured they would stop but no they actually have the balls to call back after threatening me!

It's non-stop harassment.  I got three calls in a call today within a one-hour period.

The problem is that I think it isn't just one single company but several.  The only common thing about them I can identify is the...Indian accent.  I hate to even mention this bit bec it seems so politically incorrect.  But the accents are celarly Indian and my guess is that the phone centers are actually located in India.

Someone tell me how to stop those calls!

Excellencies:

I am writing you as a last resort to ask your help in stopping a gang of thieves located in India who are terrorizing tens of thousands each day in the United States,   non-stop.

They call me every ten minutes,  seven days a week,  offering prescription medicines that they ship from India.

You can very easily confirm the damage they are doing to India’s good name by Googling  305  678-9758.  They also use many other numbers.   Here’s just two examples of actual experiences with the phone calls from India:

“Deb - 24 Oct 2008
I have gotten 9 calls in the past two day from this same number. I figured this time, since asking them to stop calling didn’t work, that I would go along with it to see if I can get some info from them. After telling them I would not place an order for Zanax without first having a web site address, or customer service number, the woman finally agreed to give me a customer service number if I agreed to place an order for $319!  I got the number 613-398-6365 - she told me the name was UMG online and that the billing would come from Global Star SL.  I hung up and dialed the number - immediately going to a voice mail (no information). The area code is for Canada, although she told me they are based in Seattle.  The 305 678-9768 is actually a cell number in North Miami/Dade County Florida.  I can't find anything on them as of yet, but I'm going to keep looking. This is definitely a scam and they can be pretty persistent, even obnoxious when questioned. Heaven help any old, trusting person who they get ahold of.  I hope someone can find out who these people are.

They call all the time "spoofing" different numbers. Tomorrow it will be a different number. They never stop. Ever.”
Calls from the thieves also cause the number 14108852 to show on Caller ID.   As one American wrote:  “I have been getting phone calls from phone number +305-678-9768 and 14108852. Apparently this is a Online Pharmacy and I keep telling them that I am not the person they think I am and I do not need any medicines. I did however get a voicemail phone number from one of the online pharmacy's sales reps. I have called repeatedly to her (Lisa) voicemail box and left messages that I do not want to receive any more calls from her or her company. That didn't work, Now I get calls three times a day! The number I called and left a message at is 646-688-2253. If you try to block your number you will not get through. If everybody called them back and told them to stop maybe we can get our peace back. This type of harassment should be stopped! Maybe if we called and left a 2 minute message we can fill up there voicemail and if they have any customers we can stop them from getting through and affect their business as they affect our lives. I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it any more. The number for ONLINE SALES REP. LISA’S VOICEMAIL 646-688-2253 was on my caller ID and she called that time and was unsuccessful of disguising it.

If you want to use a REAL Phone number to call the online pharmacy! Here is one I got I am sure by accident when one of their sales reps called me. THE NUMBER IS 646-688-2253.”

Again,   these thieves are using the Internet to place their abusive and non-stop calls.   The Internet Address they use for the non-stop calls to the 305 area code,  and other numbers they use,  will tell the Indian Police Service exactly where the thieves are calling from in India.

To avoid even greater damage to the good name of India,   please take immediate steps to stop these thieves.   They tell Americans no one can ever make them stop.   You’re the only hope of tens of thousands of Americans that you will one day kick down their door and put all of them in prison.

Sincerely,
Eddie

Since January of 2009, when I began keeping track of the calls, I have now surpassed 2,400 phone calls to my house. The calls are from an Indian "call center" like the one in the movie Slum Dog Millionaire. They call for someone whose phone number is 1 digit off from mine. However, since I am in their computer  database, the calls will continue as long as they are in business. I pretended to be the person they were calling several times and was able to speak with a "supervisor". They are reluctant to pass on any info but here is what I have gathered so far:
1) The call-center company is affiliated with Global Pharmacy in Canada - here is their website - http://www.globalpharmacycanada.com/
2) They have an 800 customer service number - 800-211-8717. Call them and harass them back. They have to pay for every call you make to them.
3) One of the supervisor's americanized name is Ronnie Douglas. When you call the 800 number, ask for Ronnie everytime. You may be told he is unavailable but be persistent. You can usually get him on the line. Tell him you have interrupted his day/evening just as his company has interrupted yours. Also, there is another person there named Jason. Call for him, too.
4) The company uses an internet phone service so the US phone numbers you see will change everyday. They intentionally route their calls this way to prevent you from blocking their calls.
5) The company is trying to sell me Ambien (I take no medications) which under US Federal Law cannot be sold into the US from any outside country. I filed a complaint online with the FDA and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). No replies to my complaints.
6) For those who are subscribers, AT&T's legal department can be reached at either 404-986-5630 or you can call 888-757-6500 and ask to be transferred. They are open Mon - Fri.
7) The Indian call center is located approx 300 miles from Mumbai (Bombay). I have not been able to get the name of the actual town.....yet!

I hope some of this information is helpful to you. Martin
