I get these calls also... I don't usually answer calls on my cell phone from numbers I don't recognize.. but, my husband accidentally answered it one day.. they asked for me, and the girl was talking so fast, I stopped her and asked her what company was this, and she said "Publishers", and when I asked her how she got my number, she hung up... I thought that would end it, but got another call yesterday, which I did not answer... This is quite annoying!!!

In regards to my comment above, I went to the National Do Not Call Registry website and filed a complaint.  If we all do that, maybe, just maybe, the calls will eventually stop.

I have received calls from Verizon Wireless #3103709591 to my mobile phone for the past month when I answer no one talks or the party hangs up. When I allow them to go to vmail no message is left.

A woman repeatedly calls my cell from this number claiming to be from some kind of publishing company. She asks how I am, and hangs up. When I call back, the line is busy. I am a freelance writer and I need to know when an actual publishing company calls. This is very frustrating!

I received a call from this number, and the person calling just hung up when I answered.  I am on the Do Not Call List!

I just got a call from this number and she "claims" she was calling from some sweepstakes.  Had my mailing address, wanted to know my age, when I STARTED to tell her "I'm not interested in your games"...she hung up IMMEDIATLEY!  No "thank you" no nothing.  Comes up M S Inc. on the caller i.d. and she claimed to have been from somewhere in California with the drawing on December 31st.

This number called here too, asked for my husband (by name) I said hes not here, then I go to say "who is calling" and she hung up on me. Idiot's

We have been getting calls from (310) 370-9591 for 2 weeks now. Same typical behaviour as other posters here have already stated. Did a reverse directory look up and came up with:

as well as unpublished, and other cities such as Rodondo Beach. All in the same small area. I contacted the police there and they shruged it off saying I needed to call my local police. I called the FBI and my local police, and they said it's not there responsibility and the cops in the area the calls are coming from are just being lazy.

EVERYONE needs to call verizon and report this person. They have been involved in hundreds of abusive calls resulting in people loosing thousands and having unknown charges on there phone bills. My local police said every single move in the scam is a blatant felony, and since the police in Torrance, ca are obviously hating there jobs, you need to contact verizon. They will be able to push the police into doing there jobs.

Report all calls like these to the provider of the phone number. It's the only way to stop them.

Got 2 calls today from this number and answer hang up.  Some girl answer without giving me a chance says I got the wrong number.  Try calling back and is busy and busy.  Don't like or have time for this kind of calls.

in my case the phone does not even ring long enough for me to get to it in all cases so far.    It is also my cell phone they are calling.  From reading all this I guess if I do finally get to it I should just start right in with how did you get my information and don't call me ever again right off.  I have contacted my credit card companies in past for similar calls and for me, it originally started with a "thank you for purchasing" call when I ordered online.

What do they want? They want you to buy a weekly magazine for four bucks a week for forty- eight MONTHS! And don't worry. They cannot charge your card without your consent AND your participation. I worked this gig in Redondo Bch for a year. Can't confirm or deny validity of contest. Reason I quit.

have been called by this number several times, when i answered, a woman was aking for me, when asked who was calling, she hang up. called back inmediately, busy line in the other side.

Got called today from this number.. M S Inc, said they were "Publishers" and I was a finalist for some loot and prizes... kept trying to verify my address.  I kept asking how I was a finalist.. she said either your bank or credit card company entered me.. and I was like that is sort of broad... then she hung up.  Busy on a couple call back attempts.

Seems like if you are suspect of what is going on she will abort mission and move on.

Calls all of time.  I was able to answer before they hang up for the first time and she asked if I was C, I asked her who she was and told her this was a private number.  She told me obviously it was not I asked her who she was and she told me again she was not fooling around and hung up on me.  Everytime I try to call back to find out who it is the phone is busy.

They've called me twice now in the past 2 weeks. I haven't answered the phone cause I hadn't recognized the number. They didn't leave any voicemails, but it ticks me off mainly because they are calling my cell phone. I have my cell on do not call lists, not like those lists ever work fully but I'm not interested in wasting my minutes on them.

the caller asked for me by name, when I responded "speaking" caller responded Publishers clearing house have a nice day.

I just got a call from this number they said their official name was Publisher headquarters that I was a finalist for a grand prize and as a gift they would send me magazine subscriptions I said no thanks and asked for their web address she said it was www.unitedreaders.com so I asked if they were magazine company and she said yes.

Repetitive calls and hang ups from this number on my unlisted/no call list phone.

Other then the fact that you're replying to a post from LAST YEAR, which makes NO sense...

Thats why its called FRAUD, because Denver DID NOT give permission. If they have some how managed to get ahold of some information, they can eventually get ahold of bank accounts.

Im sorry denver but your making those fraud charges up for the simple fact won't allow that without your permission your signature or your pin number sorry your just not believable,on regards to the telemarkter I just want them to stop calling im just not intrested
