Hi,

Just checking up on the site because they offered me a job as key account manager and they said they their firm's main location is in Lowesoft, Suffolk, U.K.  At this time I got the message a couple a day's ago, so you probably will find an empty office building when you go there.

I loved the crack about your husband paying three cows and a pig for you and he was so focused on his purpose or dumb that it didn't even phase him.

If you want information on this scam and the people behind it I recommend checking out this website:
 http://onthespotblog.com/the-hunt-for-rachel-at-cardholder-services/

The players we know that are now involved, including names and cities are:
Ambrosia Web Design LLC, Chris Ambrosia, Mesa, Arizona
American Debt Negotiators, Ran David Barnea, Boca Raton, Florida
Associated Accounting Specialists Inc., William R. Page, Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Castle Rock Capital Management, Roy M. Cox, Laguna Niguel, California
Concord Financial Advisors LLC, Lee Cestine, Mesa, Arizona
Financial Services Solutions LLC, CEO Unknown, New York, New York
PHL International, Mark Burton, Deerfield Beach, Florida
Premiere Debt Solutions, CEO Unknown, Orlando, Florida
Red Leaf Capital LLC, Leroy Castine, Mesa, Arizona

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

Here's an idea, from a friend... lets get a database of all the telemarketing numbers, then sell it back to the telemarketers.  Problem solved.

These people are something else... 1st call from 425-406-9024.  I was irritated by getting a computer generated telemarketing call to begin with, on my work cell.  So I decided to get some revenge.  Yea, I know it was probably juvenile....  I began pressing buttons in between sentences.  Then I asked the young men if he could tell where this call was going?  Then I continued to press numbers.  He got irate and told me that I was being "incredibly rude".  I pointed out to him that I did not ask him to call me to begin with.  This went back and forth until he finally hung up.  I thought it was over.... Oh no, I get a call back from 310-388-6861.  Apparently he wasn't quite done with me.  So I gave him some more digits, then whistled loudly into the phone... He still wanted to have words, so I just set the phone down...  After a while he finally disconnected.  He tried calling again as I was typing this... For what purpose do you suppose?  Geez!

I got two calls saying they could lower my interest rate. I called my credit card companies, they didn't know who these people are. When I told her what they had said she responded with, fine, keep your interest rate the way it is. lmao

Initial robocall from "Heather with Account Services" came in this morning with CID:  701-217-1068 Kenmare ND.  Pressed 1 to try to identify.  Insisted they could lower my CC interest rate but needed the card #.  I asked them to call back when I could find the card.

CID on callback:  310-388-6861 Call Center.  Insisted they needed my card # and that it was okay to give it up because they can't scam without the 3 digit code from the back.

Tried to get them to give an address and got this:  881 Main Street Orlando, FL  32857 - which doesn't exist.

Both reps had Indian-sounding accents with call-center boiler room noise in the background.

Eventually the rep asked why i was wasting his time (!) and told me to enjoy my high credit card interest rates and hung up.

I filed a complaint here:

http://www.donotcall.gov

Urge everyone to do the same. Hopefully eventually someone will be able to get some kind of info that will nail these scammers.

Got two calls from this number, one right the other. I immediately could tel it was someone selling something, so I said, no thank you and started to hang up. The guy said, but I am only trying to help you lower your interest rate, and I see you have a balance of $700.

I hung up on him, and the phone rang again, and he told me, "You were very rude, Mam, and I was only trying to help you." That's a first - scary!

I was called 2/15/12 and was told they were a company that lowers interest rates.  They had the first 4 numbers of two credit cards and wanted me to verify the account numbers & expiration dates.  I refused & was given "a supervisor".  I called the number back & was told this number no longer existed.  I want to know how they know my first 4 credit card numbers!

So - I fell victim to these guys this morning :(  I should have trusted my intuition earlier.  I ended up giving them the card number, name on card, billing zip code.  I have called Discover and told them about it.  Do you think I'm safe with my other card?  I did not give them any information for that card.  I think I might call just in case...

Is there anyone we can report these a***oles to?

I just received a telephone call from this foreigner - couldn't even pronounce my last name.  He first called using another number identified as "Credit Services" (406-720-2099).  First he asked if my credit card balance was over $3500 - I said yes...  Then he asked expiration date - I gave him one.  Then he asked whether it was Visa or MC.  MC I told him.  Then please read me the exact numbers...  I told him no and that he was attempting a scam.  I got both his numbers anyways...  Beware - this guy is up to no good.  I WONDER if he's actually calling from America?

These creeps are still up to no good.  But this time, they tried to get my checking account number.   She said she had all the information there in front of her.  She said she wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. She read off some credit card number.  I didn't verify it to see if it was truly mine.  Then she said she needed my checking account numbers.  I told I didn't see where she would need them.  She read me my routing number off of the checking account and kept pressuring me for my account number.  I told her I don't know it and then she hung up.  Beware of them asking for your checking account numbers.
The call came from 310-388-6861.
Shame on them!!!

Got a call from this number just now, not a few seconds after "Credit Solutions". Said they could lower an interest rate on all cards, wanted us to read the last digits off the card, when we said dont call back and hung up a man called back and started yelling, after a few choice words from this "reckneck" :) needless to say he didn't get the information he wanted but it's sickening that these people get away with this crap.

The card associations (Master Card and Visa) never call consumers, they are just middlemen (a network) in a credit or debit card transaction.

Visa and Mastercard's customers are the banks - the Citis, the Chases, the BofAs, etc...

1st it was a recorded message from 971-373-0141, I pressed the "1", and some foreign-sounding guy came on.  He offered to lower my rate, and told me my approximate balance - which (somehow) was accurate, then my cell phone connection broke.

Next thing I know, 310-388-6861 called me, same foreign-sounding guy offering to lower my "above 10% rate"  Wow, what a nice guy!

But...this guy's so full of shi* his eyes are brown!  What he doesn't know is the account is closed and I'm paying off the balance at under 5 percent.

I told him I'm hanging up and calling the police.  No phone calls since.

I was going to play with the guy, giving him my account info but my wife (who works one of card associations, like Visa or Mastercard) warned me they could still use the card charging amounts below the floor limits.

If ANYONE calls with an offer that sounds too good to be true, say "thanks but no thanks", mention the police, then hang up.

I received a very similar call and feel absolutely stupid. I was not as smart as many of the people on this site. The 1st woman had a very thick Indian Accent. I was referred to various people after that. I was first offered a lowered interest rate which was refused, can?t go lower etc., then later they "found" a Discover card for 0% for 13 months. When I was talking with the guy for Discover, it became apparent that the caller had filled out an online application which was a surprise. but didn't want me asking him any questions. I feel so stupid as the call was just convincing enough that I gave out too much info.. ARRGH!  Mine had phone numbers including Tanya Smith on 888 311 0279 XT 875 and later the XT was changed to 820.  There also was Jennifer Meleson at 888 311 0279. I called another number given, 877 868 5460, on Saturday and it had a recorded message with the hours and identifying the business as Logicworks open Monday-Friday 10-6pm EST. The whole thing was conveyed as being conducted from New York.

I was finally given an address of 616 Corporate Way, Suite #3449, Valley Cottage, NY, 10989. Later research shows it listed as industrial property-Off Market

<www.loopnet.com/Listing/16144101/616-CORPORATE-WAY-Valley-Cottage-NY/so>

so then I knew I needed to move fast and activate identity theft measures. And the link to current tenants, of course, didn?t have anybody.

It's interesting that they did have some info but not all and I fell for it so now I have to change my accounts. It seems that there are at least three people involved. Possibly 4 if the Discover card offer wasn't real.It also appears they are using a different phone number than what they were using before but I found this blog via the address. After all I know, thought I was smarter than that.

I received the same call today.  They had all info on three of my cards, except the security number on the back, which I did not give them.  We have two other cards which they knew we had, but did not have any info on. They were very pushy about getting that information.  They also knew we had cards with 0 balances and I acted dumb about them.  When I hung up I immediately called the 3 card companies and cancelled the cards.  One of them told me that there is another angle to this scam.  If they have your info, name, address, phone number...they have used it to open up new credit cards. So beware...these are HORRIBLE people.

I keep getting calls from this number. They ask me if I want to lower my credit card debt and say they need to confirm my visa or MasterCard number. I had 2 calls on Sunday and 2 calls today(Monday) and had several other previous calls last month. I told these people to take me off their calling list but then they just hang up on me.

Had a call this morning from someone with heavy accent, not sure what it was, but she started out with they wanted to help lower our interest rate on our Visa.  She gave me the first digit and asked for the rest. I said no way was I giving her my number. I hung up and she called back and said there was no reason I should have hung up, then I said we weren't interested and hung up.  It really bothers me that there are people that will give them their number and how many people lose alot of money.  I think there should be some action taken so they can't have these numbers unless they are a legitimate company.

Just got a call from this number offering to lower my interest rate. Tried to get my info and when I questioned them they got rude so I hung up. I then got a second call from a woman claiming to be a supervisor and the same thing happened. I reported them to my credit card company. They said they would have the fraud prevention dept look into it since they were claiming to be affiliated with my credit card company. The second call was from the number 701-661-1003. Be careful.
