I received a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not pick up the call and no messages were left.

Taylor Jones called saying he was a Microsoft tech calling about my computer that was allegedly sending large amounts of mail to Microsoft's Inbox. Hung up after I told him my Internet connection was broken.
Just a scam. Microsoft techs don't make cold calls and Microsoft does not have an Inbox.

No message, California area code, Caller ID-Taylor Jones

Called about our "computer".  We hung up before he even got started.  Caller ID indicates "Jones Taylor"

Call from this number today.  Said he was from Microsoft and was receiving error messages from my computer and that I was probably aware of it.  I said that I knew the call was a scam and that I was not going to speak to them any longer and hung up.

I have received several calls saying that my computer is sending error messages to Microsoft and that he has been authorized by Microsoft to help clear the errors, that I just need to log on to my computer. They have even called my father-in-law who does not even have a computer. I asked who he was with and he said his name was Jackson and was calling from Instant Tech Support. Caller ID showed Jones Taylor.

Same old message from Taylor Jones.  They've called me a few times over the past few months.  I've reported them to the FBI

This number called 12 times within 6 minutes, I never answered................

I have been receiving calls from this same number once a day for the last 2-3 weeks.  I finally answered it today after reading these posts.  the guy said he was a microsoft engineer, my computer was sending out error msgs and asked if I was near it.  I asked him his name...he said Peter Jones and then I asked his employee ID with microsoft and he said he doesn't work for microsoft but a company representig them incorrecting these problems.....what a joke!  I told him I know this is a scam, I googled this number and found out all about it, told him to remove my number from their list and hung up on him.

I received the same call from this Jones Taylor.  He said my PC was sending error messages.  I was stupid to allow them into my computer, now my son is going to redo my PC.   They called me again today 1/15/14, and gave me the same message.  I asked for the supervisor and just bluntly asked if they hacked into my computer and he said no, but my son is going to completely redo my PC>

Claimed to be a Microsoft Certified Engineer and was being alerted to potential problems on my PC.  Caller ID shows Jones Taylor.  This is a major misrepresentation!  

Ha! I just told them I was a cop and I was tracing their call. They hung up IMMEDIATELY. Turn the tables on these A holes!

I got a call, they sounded South African or Nigerian....they gave me the Microsoft crap....I asked for the employee number and department....they hung up! lmao!

CALLER SAID "we are from microsoft. we are getting reports to the microsoft inbox that your computer is downloading malicious software from the internet. are you near your computer now so that i may help you clean it?" I told him I knew of scam calls like this and if he ever called again I'd report it to the police. He said Bless You and hung up.

Saying my computer is sending microsoft error messages, asked computer, and he said the one with microsoft.
got a secomnd call from these idiots today, same BS but was a female caller this time

This place is driving me nuts! Same thing about Microsoft updates as soon as I told then I was gonna talk to my husband about it they hung up!

Called. Then hung up.

Called and said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending out error messages and virus. Said they received these messages via microsoft inbox. I asked them which one of my computers because I have several. He said the oldest one.  ??? (How would they know which one is the oldest?) I asked him to give me the IP address that was sending the error messages so I could match it up with my computer. I was put on hold- sounds like a scam to me.

Different callers from this number have called several times this week. All claim they are calling from Microsoft. They hang up when I start to ask questions about what computer and what version of Windows is sending them an "error". Don't fall for this scam!

she said there were some recent downloads from my computer that could harm my computer, and wanted me to go sign on and she would help me. I said no and hung up

A friend told me about this 'scam' the other day and this morning I got the call.   Do not give this person any information about you or your computer!  Change password on email to be safe (r).

got a message from him saying he was Microsoft calling about the hp comp I just hooked up was very rude

Called 4 times in a row. Didn't answer!

Call comes out of the Los Angeles, California area. It is a Telemarketer offering viagra, cialis and other medication for erectile dysfunction.
