Not a scam. Adler-Weiner is a legitimate market research company. I have done research panels with them many times, as has my daughter. Different panels pay different amounts, usually in cash. $250 is a good one--too bad you didn't reply!

It's for Adler Wiener research.  Totally legit company, I've done several focus groups for them and made several hundred dollars each time.

Called my secondary cell phone and left a message, it is a number that I've had for a few years and I've only given the number out to a few people and do not call lists.  Claimed to be doing a survey for Hilton, and would pay $250 for a 2 hr interview.  Smell like month old fish, SCAM.

I received a call.  I tried calling the number back several times, but received a busy signal.

They are calling my cell, which feels invasive, and costs me money. They ask to speak with me by name, and when I confirm who I am, they hang up instantly. Phone number is busy the five times I call it back. Thank you all for confirming who's at the other end.

This number goes to Adler Weiner Research Group in Irvine.  They are calling to see if your interested in a particular focus group that will actually pay you for your time.  It's not so bad and I've done it a few times now so if your looking for extra money, call them back.

Yes, this is a call from the market research group.  Lucky for me... they actually left a message :) It was to see if I was still interested in participating in a local focus group.  I had inquired about one of their adds on Craigslist.com the day prior.

The calling company is Adler Weiner Research Group in Santa Monica, calling to probably offer a seat on a Markey Study or Research Panel they are doing.

I just rec'd a call from this # and the samething happened; no voicemail and the line remains busy. I might have to agree with the previous post an say that it might be Adler Weiner Research Group...I know that I am on there data base, however, they should at least leave a message.

I beleive this number belongs to a Marketing Research Company. They will pay you to become part of a market research study group. The company may be Adler Weiner Research Group in Santa Monica California

Also forgot to mention that about 2 hours before that call, I rec'd one from 310-494-0252, with the same problem.  No msg and busy signal when I called back.  Did I somehow get on a new marketing list??

Just rec'd a call from this number now.  Did not leave a msg.  I tried calling it back from a different phone and I get a busy signal.  Sorry, this isn't much help.
