called cell, left no message....   not good nor apprectated

on my cell phone-- unusual. I did not answer.

I "bit" and pressed one- Was transferred to an obvious call center becasue I heard a host of voices from behind the obviously foreign accent on my line - When I directly asked what company he (the caller) worked for he hesitated and said Credit Card Rate Company" - Are you interested in reducing your rate to 6.5% foe making your payments on time - I then asked, ok - but what credit card company are you with, who do you work for - He said" Bank of America, WellsFargo, Chase, CitiCard" - When I said that he mentioned competitors in his answer that aren't affiliated with each other and that I would call my card company directly he immediately hung up - Obviously a scam -

Called my office phone.  Caller ID came up as "Pepperdine University."  Did not answer and no voicemail was left.

This is the notorious Heather with Account Services.  An illegal credit card scam to get your personal information.  Hang up immediately.

Called and left no message, when I did a reverse directory on the number I found that name Karen Waring attached to it, and under is "Scam"

Left Message:  "This is in reference to your current credit card account.  There's no problems, currently, with your accounts.  It is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%.   Your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice.  Please Press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates or press 2 to discontinue further notices.  Thank you and have a great day."

It is the "Hello, this is Heather from account services..." scam.  I reported them to Do Not Call and to Pepperdine.  This is a long standing credit card scam.

Got a call from this number but it wasn't connected.From the comments here it's obviously spam

They called my cell phone and left a message which said the call is about my credit card account, that there is no problem, but that it's urgent I contact them to lower my interest rates. Since I do not have a credit card, this is definitely a scam or marketing - either way not a call I would ever answer.

My caller ID showed Pepperdine Univ (bogus).They left a message about lowering my credit card rates. I don't know them or have any card with them. SCAM, I've blocked the number.

I answered about lowering my credit card interest rate. When I told them I didn't have a credit card they told me have a good day and hung up. These people are clearly scammers

Just missed it too. Just a quick note, there is no such thing as a Do Not Call list for cell phones.

Called me this morning & after I said hello 2-3 time they hung up. I DO NOT WANT CALLS!!! My number is supposed to be on the National Do Not Call list for cell phones. I guess I need to re-register.

They called early in the morning. Glad to find out it's a scam. Saved myself $2.59 a minute!  Blocking the number.

Scam call about lowering interest rate on credit card.  I didn't wait for the operator.

They are credit card scammers who seemed to have lots of info about me. I just called my credit card company and they closed my acct and are issuing me a new one. These scammers were pretty convincing and I feel like an a**--don't talk to them.  

They call.........no one on the other end.  I call back and it's busy who is this?

Same here, did not answer because I sadly know no one in Malibu.  Use Ebay.

I got the same call I think it was someone I bought something from eBay or Amazon

Just got a call from this number,  showed up as Malibu, CA.  When I answered it hung up.
