called and said they were a bank...when I called back the line was busy forever.?????

This number keeps calling daily, telling me I was entered in a sweepstakes.  It's a scam

IT IS A SCAM.

I just received a call from 310-539-3131 Publishers Headquarters in California & said my name had been entered into a contest either thru my bank (i know my bank does not do that) & that the drawing would be held on December 31, 2012 & they would notify me by registered letter if i won & what i would win...tried to call the number back & of course it is always busy...i know this has to be a SCAM..

Missed call. Called it back and it was some kind of scam stuff.  Told them I was on "no call list" (which I am) but they said that since I called them...it was voided for them.  Not sure about that.  I hung up but they have called 2 or 3 times a day for several days now...no message left.  UGH

This number called me on my cell phone here in Maine.  Since I knew it was from Los Angeles and, not knowing anyone there, I rejected it and then deleted it.  The caller left no voice mail message to identify themselves.  That reeks of SCAM!!!

i got a call from this lady and she knew who i was and my name.

I got a call from this number and they said i won a sweepstakes and i asked what the it was i won and they hung up on me... tried calling back 37 times and every time was busy.. SCAM NUMBER

Called and did not leave a message.  When I called back no one answered and there was no recording.

I got a call from this number saying I was a loyal customer and was winning a bunch of free stuff.... They verified my address but then I ended up hanging up after a few minutes bacuse I felt like I was being scammed..

they called to verify my address for some drawing and I said yes and then got this sick feeling.  I hope I didn't just get scammed.  When I tried to call it back it is constantly busy

got a call, no msg, no answer when calling back
