Just got a call, answered, waited 10 seconds, no response.

I received 4 calls from this number today but i did not answer. The name displayed was Ameyo and Dir Asst. CA.  SPAM!

this is the 3rd phone call that ive gotten today from this number. i never answer numbers i dont recognize. Figures that it is a telemarketer.. Call ID say DIR ASST

it all comes from our phone providers selling our information to telemarketers. They are the ones that should be punished for releaseing our info

Same issue here! Been receiving multiple calls per day from unknown numbers - 5 to 10. Then just started receiving calls yesterday from what caller ID says Los Angeles Area, because this is a business line I picked up the call but there was no one there. One or two calls per day for this number so far (between yesterday and today).

Like a lot of others I've been getting numerous calls from 310 555-4417... I never answer it but send the call to voicemail and never get a message... imagine that! Shame that the government can't do anything about it... I've been on DoNotCall list for many years and even that doesn't stop these calls... Shame!

Keeps calling and I don't know who this is, calls in two different ways. 1.  0113105554417  2.  310-555-4417

Don't know the number, so I didn't pick it up. But the numbers showed up as 0113105554417, then 310-555-4417.

someone asked for Tony...wrong number. Caller ID said Dir Asst CA

I used to get all kinds of calls like this until yesterday. Next time they call you answer the phone as an FBI agent, my calls stopped immediately.

LOL with these scanners today must be wild because I have received maybe 10 or more from unknown and different assorted numbers.  Come on dum add do yoy really think I am going to get a loan from someone who does not give me a real number and a real company. Can you SAY SCAM ARTIST....I don't care you can call me I just don't answer if it is someone who really wants to get a hold of me leave a real number and a name so I can research them first then I will see if i WANT to call them back.  Today I answered and said what do you want and well I said NO stop calling they said "God" is coming oh my gosh and they wanted to give me a loan YEA right. Praise the lord I am not stupid so please people be smart our police, FBI don't stop them why not WE STOP Them by not answering ever just delete if they really are real they will leave you information so you research first before they take your Hard working money.

Same situation as you guys. They just keep calling from different numbers and I rarely pick up. However, I sometimes pick up the 310 number because I live in LA and figure it could be something legitimate. When I do pick it up, it says "Call From" and then no name and then "Press 1 to accept or 2 to send to voicemail" and I just hang up.

I block the numbers through "Manage Verizon Safeguards" under "My Verizon" on the Verizon Wireless website, but unfortunately you can only do up to 5 numbers. Additionally, this obviously doesn't work for unknown or blocked numbers.

I think this all stems from signing up for a Google Voice number (which I never use) and having that number forwarded to my cell phone. I just changed my settings to not have the Google Voice # forward calls to my phone. Hopefully that stops this nonsense.

have called me 23 times in one week.

Today I have had 8 calls from unknown and 3 from out of area. I am a no call list, but apparently it does'nt work for these a-holes. The government should do somthing to these scam artists

This is a scam.  Guy said I was pre-qualified for a payday loan and how much I wanted. Told him I was not interested and he told me " you don't understand, I want to give you a loan, how much do you want?"  Total scam, looking for bank account information.  Has called me from 6 different numbers in the past 2 days.  All spoofed numbers.

Just called here, asked my husband how much money he made today.  When my husband asked him how much he made he got angry and didn't want to answer.  Then my husband asked where the caller, after the caller asked where we were located.  He declined to answer that as well.  He wanted to "give" us a 1500 dollar loan.  I hate the fact that while I am on the Canadian do not call list, it doesn't stop the calls from the states.

Numbers with 555 in the middle are fake numbers. If you ever notice phone numbers in movies, they normally have 555 in the middle.

I too got a call from this number. But, before I realized this was a fake number, I picked it up. Didn't hear anything from the other end. So, I hung up.

i have been received several calls from this number.Just saw on another site that it's a payday loan service.calling for the owner of this number reguarding a loan.when i answer I tell this him  has the wrong number but he keeps on calling .he said his name is peter i told him it not to call. they become very nasty, hoping to bully you into paying...threatening.its a scam

have received several calls from this number. Have not answered them and they stopped for a while .Now started again. They will be aggressive (3 or 4 calls daily)

I got the call just now. No one there. Called it back and it said it was a non working number.

Its a pay day loan service.  Foreigners that dont speak very good English

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, BUT I COULDNT PICK IT UP CUZ IM A WORK, BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD GOOGLE IT AND FIND OUT WHO IT WAS... ANYONE KNOW WHO IT IS?

This number called. Didn't answer it cause I didn't recognize it, but called it back and got a recording that said the call was not allowed to go through on this line and to call customer support at 661 or something. I think it's another of these "spoof" numbers. I got a call from a number with the exact same area code and prefix numbers but different suffixes earlier. Didn't answer that one either but caller ID said they were calling from the Los Angeles area.
