Said I had over $6000 in credit card debt. Not true! Pressed 1 for an operater and asked to be removed from the calling list.  The operater hung up on me without saying a word. I *69'd and got the 310/599-5751 number that offers to remove your number but the catch is, I rec'd the call at my home phone which has no long distance. I placed the call to have my number removed from the list from my cell which has free long distance. The number doesn't allow you to ENTER the phone number you want removed. Does anyone know how to complain and get off this call list?

They call us too and we're an emergency crisis line.  If I call back, I just get a busy signal.  I can't report them because we are a business.

Actually, I just used the person above me suggestions which was to call the 800-461-6675 and it worked.  At least it worked that I got to tell them which numbers to remove and which number has been calling me.  Thanks!

It was an auto-dialer that said I had $6000 in credit card debt. Ha! Yeah right.

you need to call it back and do what it says to get removed!!! just enter your number and press # key and conform it by pressing 1 when they repeat it back to you  and you will be removed within 20-days not counting weekends. thats how i did it and it works!!!!!!!!

I am considering getting rid of my phone and computer. If we all did that the phone companies would get after them. They would not be making any money. And so would the computer companies.

since there is next to no info about Dattek Link, I called the Company that licenses their phone number. They offer a number that lets you block the call, it's 800/461-6675.
Also: I am reporting the licensing company to the Better Bus. Bureau

Ok, this is weird. I just received a call from 1-310-599-5751. Showed on the caller id that it was from Dattek Link. My first reaction is, it maybe a dish company selling service. So, i picked up the phone and said hello. At my 3rd hello a noise chimes in and it sounds strangly like a chainsaw or a blinder running in the back ground. Freaked out, i hung up the phone. exactly 14.5 mins after that call, they called back. I pick up the phone once more and it was dead silents. Who in the hell are these people.

Called me with the same mess about $6000.00 dollars in credit cards. I told them I don't know who you are trying to reach but it ain't me stop calling my house.

The call today came from a different number (562.289.8189), same call center though.  After I said I was interested in reducing my "dead" (I swear that's what it sounds like when they try to pronounce debt), she said that the company name is "Northside Services", another incredibly generic name (like Allied). She asked me how much "dead" I have.  I told her that a telemarketer had taken my credit information and now I'm $40,000 in debt.  She said that I definitely qualify and transfered me to an "agent", but I hung up after being on hold for a few minutes.

Received call to reduce credit card debt from this number and several other phone numbers all registered to Digitcom Services. Person at Digitcom said to call 1-800-461-6675 (Telephone Management Corp.) to get your phone removed from their calling list.

It's good ol' James Penn aka Mr "Imperative That You Call".  This company has stolen the identities of who knows how many Americans.  The call center is in the Philippines, and the company goes by the generic name of Allied Services.  The number they ask you to call in this message is 800.658.1263 and they will tell you they are in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (or Miami).

Scam, scam, scam.  FTC can and will do nothing because the numbers Allied calls under do not actually exist and that's as far as their investigation will go.  They will not look into the 800 numbers, because we are calling Allied at that point.  You will never be removed from their list because THEY HAVE NO LIST and no respect for US law, if they are even required to follow the TCPA since they are based on foreign soil.  You will continue to be called by various fake numbers from this same call center because they use an auto-dialer.

In light of this, have fun with them.  Act interested, give them fake info, ask what color panties they are wearing, war dial them (their numbers so far have been real 800 numbers), waste their time if you have it to spare.  Record it and put it up on the net.  Maybe through these efforts, telemarketers will become so angry, so fed up with their jobs that few will do it anymore.  Their souls are worth more than their $300US/year paychecks (yes, that's how much US companies pay a telemarketer in the Philippines to call you every day).  Hopefully with our help, they'll figure out there is more to life than being an underpaid minion.

Same deal Press "1" for operator. I pressed "1", the operator said, "Do you want to speak to a counselor about your credit card debt?" I said, "No, Please take me off your calling list" The operator hung up before I even finished the sentence.

Same with me, an auto dialer that said I owed 6000 dollars in credit cards.  I don't even have a credit card, I am so sick of them calling.  It's a cell phone and we have to pay for the day time minutes every time they bother us.

Yet another recorded message left on my cell phone voicemail. They were pitching a credit consolidation scheme.

Credit company. Hung up when I asked how to get off their list. Get several of these each week. Same story when I call back. You can never talk to the person who left the message. If you insist, they hang up. If you tell them to remove your number, they hang up.

I got a call from this number on my office line.  I waited for the "operator" I informed her I was on the do not call list, there was no response and then the phone was dead.  I tried to call the number back it would not ring through.

Came on my cell just now. A pre-recorded message about creditor nonsense. The area code is southern California, @ what used to be OJ Simpson country.
