Trying to scam Senior Citizens.

Just added this # to my blocked calls list after reading everything on this site, I'm only allowed to block 50 numbers and it is filling up fast

Since Monday, we have received four calls from this number.  No messages were left.  The caller id is Compton, CA.  I blocked the number after reading info on 800notes.  

robocall from 310-599-6030 caller ID said "HOME SECURITY" on Wednesday 06-18-14 @ 227 pPM.

Males voice on the recorder "Due to the increase in criminal activity in your area, this is......we will be giving you a GE Onstar security system if you will put a small sign in your front yard......"
Pressed 1 and got disconnected.

It is enjoyable when the SCAMMER'S robo-system FAILS to work.

We can fix this problem!  This call from "Home Security" is the same caller I told not to call me again and to take me off their call list. The way to fix this annoying problem of scam-callers and telemarketers is to vote AGAINST every politician who is currently in office.  Why?  Because we already have laws to protect us from these scammers, and the incompetent career politicians who are currently in office have done nothing to enforce the current laws we sent them to enforce.  You can make a difference on Primary and General Election Days by voting against EVERY politician in office, by firing them all, and by replacing them with new blood.  If you do not fire these political morons, we will continue to receive these abusive and annoying illegal scam calls from the maggots known as telemarketers, a product of the career politicians who aren't doing the jobs we hired them to do.  Please be a true American and vote against ALL incumbents!

"Home Security" spam call - said they were related to On-Star somehow.  Didn't answer but they did leave a message.

I dare them to show up at my home and make any attempt at forcing their way inside I may be old but I shoot straight and will call 911 after the fact, and I am sure that I am the only one able to talk at that point and in the immediate future.

My husband mistress works for a security company in Kansas City. She is oregionally from that part of California. I wonder what the possible that they got my number. Kinda of scary. Never got calls from them before.

SCAM!!! Be aware. Read the before postings for this phone number.

Good I have a Panasonic answer phone, block this number right away.  So far I have blocked 80 phones.  It is very exciting to see this phone blocking the unwanted phones (it lights but not rings and you can see the phone number being blocked).

Called today, another call from the same folks. ID said "HOME SECURITY". You can call  these attorneys who have a great track record at fining and collecting often huge money from these lawbreakers. LEMBERG & ASSOCIATES. 1-855-496-0294.
They can tell you what information you need to prosecute and put an end to these scumbags. And there are no "out of pocket fees" for you, they do all the work. And they get big settlements from the research I have done. Good luck folks.

Called our mid-fl landline at 3.03p on 6/16/14.  No msg was left, and caller id was just a repeat of the phone number.  These great communicators are typical scammers.

WHY do these people continue to call, I never answer, no message yet it continues day after day. Im at a point I dont ven want a phone anymore. Do Not Call Registry is a joke

Just got a call. I screened the call. Message said due to increased criminal activity in the area,  they offered a free security service... blah blah. Imcut off the message.  I kniw it's bogus.  

I have recently signed up for Verizon FIOS, right after that these telemarkiting calls spiked.

Male robocaller claiming to be "GE Security"  offering a free OnStar (ph) security system to five individuals who agree to put a small "solar security" (ph) sign in their front yard.  Said to press one if "you're willing to put a small sign in your yard."   That was immediately followed by another recorded male voice saying "or press two, to place you on our 'do not call' list."

totally bogus.  

My caller I.D. stopped working, and I am a double-disabled person who *also* happens to be fighting cancer. I have multiple doctors, and it's imperative I stay in close touch with them by phone. This particular telemarketer telemarketer is driving me to wits end! This time they repeated a scam they used before on me after I already told them multiple times that we are 100% not interested, and our home security measures are in place and work fine! So, 2 days ago, this time these harassing crooks sent a recorded message that said:

    "THIS IS NOT AN UNSOLICITED CALL! One of your friends or neighbors has told us you would be interested in our fantastic home security deal, so we're calling to tell you ..." THAT IS ABJECT BULL-CACA.! Not only is it a complete lie, only one neighbor has our number because they are decade-long friends who know very well we are being hounded by these TELE-TERRORISTS for over three years. They called again today. They've called 6--8 times in a single day many times before.

They sent a rep to my home who got there 20 mins after I got home from hospital from having surgery. I literally BEGGED this a-hole to let me go, I feel like I may faint, yet he refused to leave, saying things like "Do you realize that your door could so easily be knocked in with a Soft kick, but if you try our system, it's on sale for 1600 dollars." He stood much taller and said this in very menacing tones. Took me almost a half hour to get rid of him - by threatening to call the police, but his menacing tones and body languages had me scared for weeks.

Short weeks ago they called to say a rep would be in my neighborhood and that I WAS SIGNED UP FOR THEM TO ENTER MY HOME TO ASSESS MY SECURITY NEEDS. I FIRMLY told them "No way in hell you're coming to my yard much less IN my house!" Again, only threatening to have police got them to stop INSISTING that they were coming INTO my home!

If you dare to try to get on their "Do not call list," THAT is when they started these high-pressure tactics.

PLEASE be careful how you handle these criminals! If they come again, we're calling the cops and will let them know both males who live here have purchased firearms (we have).

If you read the articles on the right side of this website's page, you will quickly see that reporting these crooks to the DNC List, FCC, or FTC will avail you ***nothing***. Please don't answer their calls and please don't even press the "Remove me from your call list button" -- this only tells them that their robocaller has found a home with an activated phone line, and their calls will multiply exponentially. They are among the top 3 harassers in the nation, they work from over 60 diff phone numbers, and they also can hide which number they are actually calling from, so if you report the # that called you, you may be reporting an honest citizen or business that has no idea they're being used for such purposes.

Very often they don't leave a message, but if they do, just erase their message and move on. These are tactics I learned from this website -- I'm sorry I have no better news, but all these tips are all I know. Your safety is all that matters.

Called our DNC registered landline on 06/10/2014 @ 05:26 PM from Compton, CA. Caller ID only shows the phone number twice. No message was left.
It sounds like the typical alarm scam with the ?scary? FBI warning.

just received a call from this number.  Showed "Home Security" on caller  I.D. I did not answer and they left no message.
So thankful for 800 notes.

I am on DoNotCall registry but received recorded call from this number.  Caller ID showed HOME SECURITY.  Recording stated it was GE Home Security calling...blah blah.  Option offered for 1 to accept their offer or to press 2 to be placed on their do not call list.  Pressed 2 and the recording simply played again.  Called number and it stated to press 1 to be placed on their do not call list.  I filed complaint at DoNotCall.

A recording started up about crime being on the uprise -- that's as far as they got. I hung up. I've had plenty of these numbnuts call before.

Why is there not a way to stop all these calls. This number has called several times I never ans. or if I do I leave the phone and walk away.
