We are getting a number of different scam numbers on our rogers cell. I don't answer because I don't recognize the number and I have to pay if I answer. Variety of different 310 #'s

Hey, Thanks for the post! I too have been getting these calls. I never answer, they never leave a message so I had no idea who they were from.

I am getting calls on my cell phone from 310-599-9143. This is a business phone I don't these calls coming in on this line.

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING THE CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. ALWAYS ENTER THE NUMBER TO BE REMOVED AND STILL....HAVE SPOKEN TO LIVE PERSON AND STILL...HOW CAN WE MAKE IT STOP? THEY'RE OFFERING CREDIT REDUCTION TAHT I DON'T NEED

I've gotten a couple of calls from this number during work on my business mobile.  They don't leave a message and I don't answer.  I've now put them in my address book as DNA (Do not Answer) that way if they call again I just ignore it.

Same as most have reported -- telling me my auto warranty is about to expire (they have no clue). I pressed 1 and when someone answered I could hear the chatter of a boiler room in the background. I then said in a very firm voice, "If you call my cell phone again with your junk calls, I WILL SUE YOU" and then hung up. Of course I have no idea how I'd be able to sue them, but it was fun to say it anyway and then hang up before they got a chance to say anything :)

Live in Toronto and last week stayed in Europe. I got a call to my cell phone from unknown caller 1-310-599-9143 on 2/5/2009 at 8:23 pm. Never gave my cell # to anyone. How to prevent my cell phone from such callers?

They randomly make calls to ANY phone number they can harvest! They do not comply with any "do not" call lists.  If your number is harvested again, they will dial you!  These pricks are lowest of the low!  I'd spend hours fawkin' with these humps if I had the time!

I didnt answer the call. Its the third call I have gotten from this number. Next time I will answer and report again.

The 310 numbers are telemarketers out of California. The one is trying to let me know that the warranty is up on my vehicle (and it seems that this one is used in a lot of the complaints.) The other I won't answer but it keeps calling.

!!!If you are in the states you can register your number on their do not call registry at www.donotcall.gov or in Canada at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/

Out of country callers have to obey the do not call registry of the country they are calling (or at least they are meant to.)

Like many of you above I recieved a call from (310) 599-9143. It is a california number (compton) apperantly my "auto insurance" has expired. I went through the whole ordeal just to mess with there minds, kind of fun to be honest. Some of the pushiest sales people I've ever heard from. They claim there a "third party" and gather information from "other sources". Call the number back and it says you can unsubscribe. I did, hopefully it'll work, or they'll have to insure the gasket i'm gonna blow on them!

Called my 705-area code cell at 19:15 EST in Ontario. I was told it was the "second notice" of a void warranty on my vehicle. Upon hearing that, I hung up.

The numbers 916-219-8160 and 310-599-9143 keep calling my cellphone constantly, they're from California. I haven't actually picked up when they called but What do they want? It's very annoying !

Just received a call as well from 1-210-599-9143. Im in oklahoma and did not recognize the #. I typed it in google and got this post. This is crazy!

Yes, something about a warranty (I've gotten these calls a couple times before)...This time (like 5 minutes ago), I pressed 1 and got a representative, told her that I don't even own a vehicle and that I'd appreciate it if I was taken off the calling list. She said that I wouldn't be getting anymore calls...Let's just hope that's true, cause these calls are annoying as hell!

Well, actually, there is a number you can call from your cell that will stop these calls. After a certain date, cell phone numbers will start going public to everyone, including telemarketers. If you don't want that to happen, you have to call the number, 1-888-382-1222. I haven't tried it yet, but my friend did and hasn't gotten one call from a telemarketer. I got that same call today as well!!

I just got a call on my cell phone from them saying my warranty on my car will expire, and that would be the final warning before they close the case.  I hope they close it or whatever and don't call my CELL phone again!
