i got called and didnt pick up but 5 min later i got a "free vacation" call from a similar number

I got called on my Toronto area code cell phone and didn't pick it up.

This number is calling my 10 yr old granddaughter's cell phone, NOT COOL.  She is not listed anywhere for them to have her number, they are just dialing every number combination they can???  Luckily, she is smart enough to know NOT to pick up when idiots call.

Received a call from this number and didn't pick up but they lefted a voice mail about my vehicle.

I looked it up and it's coming from Compton, California. I didn't pick it up as it's probably some telemarketing scam. Very annoying.

I'm in Tiburon-Belvedere, California. I have never received marketing calls UNTIL I SWITCHED TO AT&T!!
Since then, Ive changed my number twice not knowing AT&T sold me out. I'm unlisted, but since my service provider is the culprit, I guess I just have to suffer until my contract is up.
Seriously, someone should take their @$$ to court for this, it's ridiculous.

I have reported 310-599-9168 to the FTC for calling my number.

I missed a call from this number at 8:40pm, no message left.

I have gotten the expired car warranty call in the past few weeks and am now wondering if this number is associated.

It's almost comical "we are calling to give you your last chance to extend the warranty on your vehicle". I inquire "oh yeah, which vehicle are you referring to?".They can never answer THAT question!

they called left a message about car expiring or final chance to be removed from the list... im going to report this to my assemblyman, congressman and mayor and then im going to make it a personal campaign to find out who this is and make sure they get hit with charges. its a rough economy out there and its unfair that damn telemarketers can leave frightening messages like that to get the consumer to call them back!?!?

Just got the call.  I didn't answer and no message left.  Two days ago I answered 973-989-5654 and got the expired car warrenty message. I'm in Georgia.  Our cell phone companies have sold our numbers???? AT&T

Offerer telling me that my present warranty on my 2009 Vehicle was about to expire. What a load of crap. Where do they get cell numbers from??????

I just got a call. I did not answer it. Checked the number on the web and saw it was a telemarketer. Call the number to b#*@&h and it gave me the option to not be call again. I don't know if it will work but you can try.

Got a call about five minutes ago, didn't answer. I'm in San Francisco.

I've had all of these numbers calling my cell repeatedly in the last 3 weeks.  It's a waste of all of our time and it needs to stop.  I've e-mailed Digitcom (who seems to be the provider for at least one of these numbers) and await a response.  Perhaps if everyone bombards the telephone service providers with complaints about numbers belonging to them they'll do something about it.  If anyone has contact info for the marketing company responsible for these calls please post it.  I'd like to be the one calling THEM.

I have received 5 calls on my cell phone in the past 2 weeks from different California Area Codes:

All these calls seem to be associated according to reports on this forum and occur in the afternoon or evening. I won't answer unknown calls on my cell, preferring to let the call go to voice mail, where I can screen the caller. No message ever left.

Prior to registering on the CDN CRTC DO NOT CALL list, I never received nuisance calls on my cell. Thanks to a huge loophole in this system, my number is now public. Thank You CRTC.

I'm also in Toronto, and these idiots called my cell phone yesterday afternoon.  I didn't pick up this call - I didn't even recognize the area code.  This was the first of 3 called I've received, all on my cell phone, and all aparently from southern California, in the last 30 hours.  Something has to change.

This # rang to my phone within the past hour and I did not pick it up.  I am in Toronto.

So, if the DNC won't work, how can I get this people to stop calling my phone? It's happened twice, but from different numbers. I've never picked up, but it's getting annoying.

I have sent this websites notices about the all the numbers on this complaint. It is a call centre in the USA, so calling a DNC (do not call) list will not be of any use to you if you are Canadian as CA (California) does not have to following these laws.
