Calls & leaves no message. Number listed as cell phone # but when the # is called back a recording says call may be recorded as if it is some sort of customer service or business.

They've called my cell several times in the last week from both the 310 number and the 713 number. Same thing, 10+ year old debts my husband had. Not sure how they got my number. My phone is super basic but I'll try to figure out a way to reject their calls.

This company is definitely a collection company. They are literally calling about a 10 year old debt my EX-husband had. They are so crafty it's pathetic. They have called me from 843-278-0375, 310-424-5690, 713-429-4169 and 310-694-8639. I just drag and drop their numbers into my "Ha-Ha" contact which has no ring and won't take messages....

Called this morning, with "Los Angeles, CA". When answered, it played a recording saying "Stay on the line for an important message." We opted not to. Most likely a collector, because we have had a bunch calling here for someone who doesn't live here.

They called me 3 times today and I called the number back and it was an automated system that told me to hold for a rep. I hung up. They called me back about 4 hours later and I answered it and it was an automated voice again and I waited and got a person and they asked me for my name but they called me by my nickname so I never acknowledged who they were speaking to and I asked them who they were and what did they want, and they kept asking for me by my nickname and I then asked them who they were and what was the meaning for this call they asked for me by my nickname again and I once again asked them who they were and then they hung up on me.

also Larry by law they have to tell you they are a debt collector. They must say before the debt is even read that " this is an attempt to collect a debt by a debt collector, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose" By law they must say that or it is a violation

it is agains the Federal trade commision, which governs the FDCPA, to misrepresent yourself. This company did that twice with me today. First when I called back after I was hung up on and told by a collector that she was going to falsify what I said in the notes, then when I called back a MR simms claimed he was a manager, then he hung up on me and when I called another guy claimed he was a partner (lol) why would a partner answer collection calls. OH and by the way not one person read me the Mini Miranda, which is required by law. They claimed they would sue me,which even if the debt was real they couldnt because it is out of the statute for the state I live in. (3 years) IT is 1000.00 per violation for things like this. According to the FDCPA.

They just called me, at first the woman claimed it was a loan I got in 2003, when I said 2003??? SHe said no 2007...Im like, I did not take any loan out with these people in 2007. she then started screaming and hollering and threatening me, claiming I was refusing to pay. I told her no, im not refusing to pay, I am disputing a debt that I am telling you I don't owe. Then they said I used my ex boyfriend from 2004 as a reference, now why would I do that when I was dating a new guy for 2 years by the time 2007 rolled around. I believe it was 2003 and they lied because they knew I would say out of the statute "Buzz off" and they claimed it was 1400 dollars, which I have taken loans out for that company before but NEVER FOR THAT LARGE AMOUNT, and that was years ago and it was paid back directly out of my account. when she hu I called back and the person answered claimiing he was a manager, and gave me the same bullying technique and hu saying if I did not call back in an hour he will sue, I called back again and the next person claimed they were a partner (liar) gave me the same treatment of not letting me speak and hung up. I do not know why any company would want to use them as their collection agency. They are horrible. I yelled at the "Partner" and told him to sue me if he thinks he could win and hung up!

Very early calls, never pick up when I answer

This number keeps calling me between 5:00 and 5:30 AM I don't know who they are because they never leave a message. I have grown children and early morning calls can mean an emergency, so I don't appreciate this kind of call.

| Larry 2010-05-06 14:12:46 Debt Collector |
CRA called early this morning. I ask if they were a debt collector. They would never answer me. They kept trying to get me to identify myself. Then they told me about a Visa debt from 2003, that I know nothing about. When I refused to put up with their harassment, they said they were going to put in a 1099 tax form to the IRS, saying that I had unearned income that I did not report. These people are going to far. Somehow, someway we free people of the USA have to put a stop to this.
If I knew how to start a revolt against them I would. Actually anyone who is associated with them, should be open game. I would shoot them with a rubber bullet!!!!!!!!!

This is definately CRA, they finally left me a msg same ole thing as to how inportant it is to call them back,l they cant even pronounce my name correctly
| connor 2010-05-04 21:27:08 Unknown |
They called my cell. I called back to see "who" was calling. Machine answered CRA - I hung up naturally; and looked them up on the web - only to find a rap sheet here.
I was harrassed 3 years ago about a debt that was 10 years old. At that time, I called the Better Business Bureau. Found out it was a scam company that they've been investigating. They are just nobodies that search your info., find an old unpaid debt, claim that they are going to sue you if you don't pay them immediately. Unfortunately, a lot of people know that they did have an old debt, feel bad about it, and send this fradulate 'debt collector' a lot of money. Everytime the bureau is close to catching them they disappear; only to reappear somewhere else, scamming someone else. The Bureau told me never ever pay an old debt to anyone claiming to be a collector. Most companies write off debts within 5-7 years. If in doubt, let it be clearified in court before the judge.
