Legit calls from Bell should show only 310-2355 with Bell Canada as the Name Display or should show as 800 number type phone numbers with Bell Canada as the Name Display. If your Caller ID shows anything else it's not a call from Bell Canada. If the Name Display is blank then it's not a legit Bell call. CRTC regulations mandate that outbound calls, done properly should always show the number and the company name. If you subscribe to Caller ID then it should always be filled with the correct info. It is't lacking this info then answer at your own risk.

Bell never uses caller ID's like 416-310-2355 or 905-310-2355 and you should never call Bell using these as local numbers or even dialed as long distance numbers. Dialing 310-2355 (Bell) works only if you are calling Bell from Ontario or Quebec. If you are outside of these two provinces then you must use any other published number from Bell in the 800 number format like 1-888-388-2355 or their Snowbird number 1-800-668-6878.

Just received a call from this number 416 310-2355 - started off by asking for my husband and then they asked who I was. Told them, and then she said she was working from the back office of Bell and had a request to change the name on our display when we call someone. She asked if we would like "Private Caller". Told her we already had that and she hung up. Very strange.

--- tiny --- is just drunk!

If tiny would pay attention, he'll notice that callers from this number were asking for Credit Card info, not informing them of Postal Strike reminders!

This means that these scammers are much more smarter than tiny is, because they can call anyone by disguising any phone number they wish.

Lately they changed tactics, if they call you and you do not answer, then they leave a recorded message saying that Bell requires all payments to be paid in time even during strikes.

If you answer their call then they starts scamming using credit cards, won a trip or other means.

They also preparing you for a final assault, by first ligitimizing themself truely from BELL, then once they got your trust, then they launch their assault on you.

So do not answere this phone number at all and 1st report it then ignore it.

Report it to BELL and to: http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.c ... eportfraud.html

Event Reminder
***** Just like Rizzo has posted above, it is Bell, wanting you to make sure to pay your bill during the Canada Post strike.  THAT'S ALL FOLKS.  I'm quite surprised at all the people who think its a scam  -- if you take a course in human behaviour these folks who look at their call display will find that their perception of this call is ALL wrong.... quite funny actually.....although quite sad at the same time !!

We must check everything these days, nothing is for free.  Everyone, Bell, Telus, Rogers etc. customers got a SPAM call last year when someone was telling us our car warranty was up - ironically mine was up but I asked for a number to call them back & they hung up - I knew right then this was SPAM - it's a fact of life unfortunately.

I received a voice message from this number about logging into bell's website and I'll receive $100 credit. No offence, no one gives away money or credits just for logging in so I googled it and here is everyone wondering about the same thing. Thank you for letting me know that it was a scam.

This was a fraudulent call, it DID NOT come from Bell even though it is showing their number.  When they tell you you have 'won' a $100 credit to be applied to your next bill, and tell you to sign in to your bell.ca account to redeem, do NOT do it, they are taking your password and compromising your number and cell/home accounts.

I called Bell Mobility and was advised this a scam. The website did not appear and there was no such promotion. Bell Mobility was not able to tell me how these people got my number. I usually do not give it out. BE ADVISED THIS IS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!
