Got a call. No message left.

It was probably a wrong number

I received a call from a Cindy who was from, Bankers? Said she received my resume online and wanted to discuss it with me. I have a difficult time understanding people with thick accents. I did a reverse number search and it said the number was located in Compton, CA.

I received the same call literally 1 minute ago. I couldn't understand much of what the woman said (due to the accent and background noise), but managed to pick up that she was a "recruiter" and something about "bankers" and wanted to know if I was still in the market for a position.

My girlfriend had applied for jobs online a couple months back and she just received this call. Reading these comments, it's obvious that it was a recording and they made sure you only heard the "banker" part of their name. I smell a scam.

Yeah.. I received the same phone number at aprox. 11:53AM from a woman name Cindy. She contacted me because her manager spotted my resume.  I was so shocked when I got a pre interviewed on Wednesday, but reading through these comments it seems like a scam. She told me to dress nice and casual on Wednesday and the employer will discuss me about the position and my income.. I don't know what to believe. I tried to locate the area code (310), and it seems like it's somewhere in the los angeles area.. I had a really hard time understanding her even when I asked her to repeat. She said she was from bankers etc etcs.. and I couldn't catch the other phrase. I was a little excited because of job opportunities, so I gave her my email address to email me the address and the description,  but I haven't gotten an email yet.  She seems really nice, but I feel something sketchy..

It's funny, just copy and pasting a number on google, and this is what I got.. Thanks to the people..
