Tell him that you know perfectly well that he is nothing but a punk-a** fraud, and that the whole country is now laughing at him and his fellow low-life scammers.
Let your boss and coworkers know about this worldwide epidemic of scumbags that are trying to defraud people. The vermin that are participating in these scams are pitiful social failures and need to be eradicated. Knowledge is the key.

this man called and said he had arrest papers for me . he not only called home but also work.

I got several calls from this number,saying he was with the LAPD crime unit. He was demanding money from me for an on line loan,and if payment was received, not only did he threaten me,but also two of my family members as well.Can't something be done about these scams?

Just got a call from LA PD Douglas Black looking for an ex employee of mine-he said that there is a warrant for arrest...HUMM...I was like...if you were a real officer...you are calling around to look for a person that havent worked here in 6 months? You are way behind tracting him down. LOL

Just got a call from this number-he asked for 1 of my ex-employee. He said he is from LA PD and that my ex employee has a warrant for his arrest and asked how they can contact him. I was abit suprise, because
my ex employee was not that type of person that be in any type of trouble. So I asked for his name..he said he was sergant Douglas Black, but his accent was more like Spanish . I just had a fishy feeling and Google this number and now found out it is all a scam...! Why are they still doing this...cant REAL authority
do something about this?

Bogus and fraudulent debt collectors just love that whole routine. As laughable as it is, there are still people naive enough to fall for it though. Which is sad and is why alot of us here defuse these pathetic frauds at every oppotunity.
Everyone needs to educate themselves. Know your rights. And know how to spot these low-life frauds and recognize their ridiculous ploys.

Received a call from this number, once on my cell and once to my place of employment. He says his name is Officer Douglas Black from the Crime Enforcement Agency within the California Police Department. I am to return his call immediately before a lawsuit is released from his office tomorrow at noon. Failure to cooperate will result in my being picked up by a Federal Investigating Team and held in an interrogation room till resolved.

These guy is hilarious....is calling for my wife from attorney generals office sounds like he was calling from a parking garage... horns honking in background...lol says his name was Douglas black....he called the wrong person this time...lol

They continue to call my place of employment for my husband who is in jail. They have called myself a b**** and they have called my manager and said f*** you f***ck you and just call and completely cuss us out. I called our local police department and they told the officer he was drunk and not a real officer. They aren't even from here you can tell by their Indian accents. The officer said they were posing as police enforcement and then the Indian said I NEVER TOLD YOU TO BELIEVE ME. I need this to stop what do I do?

This person has been harrsing me for a while and even called my job and told me that if I did not pay them ththat I would have a police at my door and also I had a warent for my arest can any one help me or tell me what to do about this idoit

This number calls my phone to speak with my husband daily! We ask who we are speaking to and they hang up. They say the same thing that they will send police to our home and place of business if they don't get their money. Funny thing is we filled out the payday loan stuff online but never actually got the loan. We knew from the begining that it was bs. But they won't stop calling. If we block one number they call from another. Saying "we are located AT Texas" and a woman has even gone so far as to curse me out saying "you are a cu*t and fu*k you" before hanging up. Idk how to make the calls stop! Can I file harrassment charges?

I also got call here in Texas saying a warrant was out or my arrest for a cash america loan I never took out. Luckily my friend who is a PI was on the ball, and has file a full complaint in CA against this company with the FTC.. Do not let people like this scam you. They need to go back to their worn torn country. The law says that they can not arrest you for an unpaid debt. They do not have the time or resources for this.
If they call you, hang up or change your number as I have. Thank Goodness I listen to my friend. And file a police report also.

I got the same call today.  It was from an Officer Mark Brown and he said that he was working with the Attorney Generals' Office and that I owed 300.00 for an unpaid loan that was deposited into my account but I had never had any money put into my account.  He said that if I didn't call him back then a warrant would be issued for my arrest and also for 2 of my family members.  When I called him back, he tried to get me to pay the debt over the phone with my credit card. When I wouldn't pay he got mad and angry with me.  I hung up with him and called my local law enforcement officials.  They told me that this was a scam!

Oct 26, 2012 at 8:42 am got a call from a Eastern (India or Pakastan ) accent informing me that he is from atorney generals office Crime division and If I didnt call him back He would swear out an arrest warrant for me.

Someone at this number called, stating his name was Mark Brown and he is with the Los Angeles Attorney General's office, and that there had been a complaint filed against one of our  employees.  I got his name and number, and told him I would call him back.  Before I did, I googled the number and found this website, with similar stories.  I then contacted the LA OAG, and was told they did not have any phone numbers which begin with 310.

This number has called my job and home several times. They were told that I can not receive calls but they continued to call. I called the number and a man with a thick Indian accent answered said that he was Officer Williams. I asked him what agency he was with and he said the attorney general's crime investigation. I asked, where are you located. He said in Los Angeles. I know that the attorney general does not have a los angeles area number and that this was a scam and he's a fraud. I'm on my way to the local police to report this incident. I was told to file a complaint. PLEASE READ THESE BLOGS AND DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!

They called me and said they were from the attorney generals office. If i didnt pay them a debt that was already taken care of they would arrest me. I was advised by the sherriffs office to call after the second call to report it.

got the a call on 10/23/12 from some middle eastern jerk. said his name was officer Mark Brown. He left me a voice message stating that he had an arrest warrent for m and members of my family. I did not call him back because I know this to be a scam. I hope law enforcement will stop these people.

Got a call on Oct. 23, 2012 from a man with heavy middle eastern accent from 310-742-7377. Said his name was Officer Mark Brown. He said he was with the attorney general office and that he has a warrant for my arrest and members of my family. He wanted me to call him back but I did not call back. These people need to be tracked down and arrested, I wish someone for the LAPD would track the person in California responsible for what appears to be overseas calls. and bring them to justice. I recently receive a similar call from someone in Buffolo New York

i got a call from the number 310-742-7377 from a man saying he was officer williams and i would be arrested if i did not pay my debt,i ask him several questions to prove who he was but he could not really give me a truthful answer.

A person using this phone number called our company to reach an employee.  He claimed to be Officer Douglas Black from the LA Police Department who had an urgent matter with our employee.  We took a message and gave the name and phone number to the employee.

Well I got the call from Officer Williams and he tild me that if i didnt send him a fax by noon that i woyld be facing fraud and i needed to hi. re me a lawyer because I woyld be in jail. I was frighten a little but then I was thinking about it because he tild me he was from the attorney general office and I qould be arrested at my job. So I fillowed my first mind to look the number upon google and ran across this article. All I can say is Thank God for the internet.

The person with the indian accent identifying himself Officer Jeff Anderson is at it once again. He has been calling me for the past couple of days with the same tricks that he has used on all of you. However he may have bitten off more than he can chew this time around as I have an uncle whom is one of the top prosecutorial corporate lawyers in the united states. I also have a sister whom is a retired federal agent along with a brother whom works closely with the federal government. I intend to pull out all the stops and use everything at my disposal and then some to stop this man. If the person whom is doing all of these fraudulent activities is reading this I have located the origin of that number being an unpublished number or cell phone in Compton, California. Heed this as a warning your days of scamming people are numbered. I have told you what my resources are and I have already contacted the U.S. Federal District Courts. So much for your intimidating me with a warrant. This same scam hes also been reported under the phone number 908-988-4266.

They called me today saying that I had offenses against my social security number that pertain to bank fraud.  They said that if I wanted to settle it that I would either have to hire an attorney and settle it in court or I could pay the amount I owed on a payday loan that I supposedly had taken out.  The only way I could pay it off was to go to Walgreen's and get a greendot money pak and I could only use cash.  I asked them more specific information about where they were located and the company they were from and when this "loan" occurred and they had trouble telling me.  Along with that the guy who called had a very thick middle eastern accent and I could sometimes not understand him.  He said that he was with the Financial Criminal Investigation Service and that his name was Officer Williams.  On a side note they not only called me but they called my place of employment as well.

Received several phone calls from this number, first was someone saying they were with the FBI and they were asking for one of our employees.  Since I had looked this number up yesterday I informed the person (with a heavy accent) that I knew it was a scam and would not relay the message.  He called back several times and was more rude everytime.  He told me to mind my own business Ms operator lady!  

I wish there was a way to get these people!
