It's a male black, fairly young, using a "spoofed" caller ID, which is illegal.  When you get one of these calls, immediately dail *57 to initiate a trace,  then contact your local police department or sheriff's substation.  I think these hoods are calling ONLY numbers listed in the phone book checking to see who's home.  It sounds to me to be a burglary ring.

This number calls my house as well. The number can't be traced because they disconnect the line. I have family in law enforcement they call to see if you are home that's why when we answer they act like that. You could be a target for robbery if you don't answer. Be safe.

This # calls all the time.  I have 2 lines because of home office.  Both lines ring at same time.  I have asked these people to please stop.  They just laugh and are very rude.  Today he told me to quit being an idiot & disconnect other line and then laughed.  If you call the number it isn't  an in service #.  I don't know why we can't get rid of these people.  I waste a least an hour a day answering phone & no one is there or they are scams or selling something.

Got a call from 310-777-4595. The guy said he was calling to offer a promotion on home improvements. When I started asking questions about who they are and what location he was calling from he laughed and hung up. Sounds like a scam...

The caller was named 'Mickey'.  He claimed to represent a veterans group trying to find [temporary?] work for unemployed veterans doing various jobs. I have no idea if it's legitimate or not, but that's what he said.  However, as I spoke with him, 'Mickey' didn't have good information regarding who he was calling or our location. And he was calling from a 310 number (west Los Angeles) and claiming he was in a different location.

I don't know who these people are, they call constantly from same number, different area codes. Finding the true owner/s of these numbers is just about impossibe. All numbers are invalid if you try to call back. No one on the line when you answer the phone, never a voice message left. I keep a log now of all  unwanted calls. Tons of them. These particular numbers have been calling since the first of the year.  Beware!
