this number has been calling me every day for the past week.... no one ever leaves a message, and when i pick it up there is never an answer

Picked the phone and no one was there, silence so I hung up.

It seems like they are up to no good!  Why wouldn't they leave a message and why no one picks up?  Very strange.  I am tired of constantly getting calls from them.

They keep calling, asking for me I tell them I'm not there, and if they want to leave a message...they said they'd call back later. They never give me any detail.

I've been receiving these calls two times per day for the last three days. No message is left when they call. I answered the phone today, but my husband picked up at the same time. The person on the other line said "Mary?" like they knew me. My husband said "hello" and they hung up. I decided to try a number search and came across this forum. I am from Illinois. This kind of creeps me out.

I am trying to find out who owns this phone number 312-268-5110. We have received multiple calls, but no one leaves a message.

I answered this call today and they asked for my wife.  I said she wasn't home and asked if I could take a message and they said they were "Midwest Research" and that they would call back at a later time.  They hung up before I could tell them to not call back.

Yeah, they say Midwest Research, but I don't like it, either.

They call me everyday and it is really annoying. It is definitly harrassment, something should be done.

I have been getting these calls also for the last few weeks I am from Illinois too.

Argghh I am so damn irritated with these constant calls from this number. I call back and it says the person is unavailable anc the vm is full so I cant leave a message. i get calls everyday and no one is ever on the line and they dont leave a vm. I am from Chicago and I kept thinking it was a legit number because its 312 but no. I dont know what this is, but im tired of it.

I have been getting calls from this all week 2 times a day, I tried calling it back today and I got a message that the number was out of service.  I am from Illinois.

Did anyone contact Police?  What did they say?  I get the same calls.  Wonder if should contact Police?

I went on my cell to block this number..I hope I don't get another phone call from them anymore...tired of this crap..I am calling my buddy who works for the state police to let him know about it....is everyone who is getting these calls from IL?

I reported this number at National Do Not Call Registry!  Will report to the police also!

We have been getting calls from 312-268-5110 for days and they keep hanging up. CallerID only identifies them as 'Illinois Call". Please share what the police advised. Thx.

This is scary and I am worried.  I have the same experience as everyone on this blog!  I am going to call police tomorrow morning!

I agree.  It seems very scammish!  I think I am going to speak to the police department about 312-268-5110 because I keep receving calls from them all the time.  I feel harrassed by them.

I would call the police department (non emergency) immediately and make a strong complain against this number 312-268-5110.  It seems like whoever is calling from this number is running some sort of a scam or something more serious.  I hope they are not trying to steal identities.  They keep changing their story every time they have called.  No one picks up the phone so there is something very strange and wrong going on.  I seriously think Police department should be informed and this must be investigated.

They called me back, I picked up fast, said HELLO, HELLO!!  Asked for me, I asked who was calling, they said--MIDWEST RESEARCH.

Call and dead air from this number

weird, me too.  today.  i called the number back, it said "unavailable"

Also got a call from this number and trying to find out who owns this phone number.
