They called and asked for the last for digits of my social security number claiming that my I had unpaid tickets in Illinois.  Considering I've never been there,  that's impossible. I'm not sure if this is some sort of scam...I just wanted to say don't ever give out personal information to random un known callers!!!

Arnold Scott Harris, P.C. a/k/a Harris & Harris (312) 348-1558 is a law firm performing debt collection work.  They use an automated calling system which contains inaccurate phone numbers.  During Jan., Feb. and March 2010, they called my home repeatedly during the day while I was at work and loaded up my answering machine with messages.  (My family and I don’t owe money, so Mr. Harris and his firm had no reason to call.)  When I finally had enough of the barrage of unwanted phone calls, I called them back.  The young lady who answered the phone was very rude and confrontational right from the start, insisting I must have an "account" with them.  She searched and searched, didn't find anything, and reluctantly said she would remove my number from their automated call list.  The kicker – after they had repeatedly called my home for days, the young lady actually said "don't you have anything better to do than call the Law Offices of Arnold Scott Harris?" Please be wary of this outfit.

i just got a call from them too. they called me 2x's in less than a minute. they didn't leave a message. i called and told them to stop calling. he said he will take me off the list. they were looking for someone that didn't know.

Did they ever stop calling your number? Most automated calls stop after while when not answered but this firm keeps faithfully call at least 3 to 4 times a day.

This company keeps overloading my caller ID with at least 22 calls per day even  after I called them confirm the reason for their call. It turned out they were looking for someone who was a part of my household or knowledge of. The young lady that answered the my call cut me off just as I was going to ask her to remove my number from what ever list they have. I guess I have to call back and spit that out of my mouth first "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST". I wonder if the state attorney should look into this?
