Debt collectors have selective amnesia when it comes to "stop calling me--the person you are after does not live here" verbal requests. Permanently refresh their memories and leave a paper trail by sending them a certified letter with return receipt requested officially informing them they are calling the wrong number and you intend to take legal action against them for violations of the TCPA and FDCPA if the calls don't stop.

We have been receiving calls from this number for months now, saying that we need to call "Mr. Hoover."  The person they are asking for does not live here, and we have told them this, but the calls continue.

recorded message asking me to call 312-380-3046. caller id shows Harris & Harris 312-380-4057. not a toll free number & I'm not spending my dime to call to find out what they want.

It's a collection agency, called me about  a ticket I never got , in a city I was never at. A lot of wrong info, how they got my # I still can't figure out. Still not sure if it's legit, so don't give out too much info.

This number has called my home 3 times. I don't know anyone in Chicago and have not been there in 5 years. I need to know who this is & why they would be calling me
