When I get calls like this, I use selective call forwarding and forward this number to their own number. No more calls!!!!!

Robo call and hang up.  Added to the block list on my phone.

Since legitimate businesses comply with do-not-call regulations, imagine how many calls you'd be getting without it, if you can. Sears alone would call daily offering every category of their merchandise and service. Same for your bank and financial companies AND all the other banks & financial with whom you don't have an account. Insurance? I made the BIG mistake of clicking on LowerMyBills.com five years ago. Five screens into a promised auto insurance "free quote" I realized each screen was asking a deeper level of personal information. Although I ended the process immediately without clicking "submit" I got the first phone call 10 minutes later. Information entered on each screen is sent when you go to the next screen (they don't tell you). Every six months I am flooded with auto & home insurance phone calls. Some local, some national. They all claim to have come by my number legitimately. (The number of these calls has slowly fallen each year)

The fact is that the vast majority of unsolicited calls are outright fraud & scams or fly-by-night telemarketing. I get as many of these annoyance as you appear to get. I've reduced some of the problem by NEVER entering sweepstakes or otherwise giving out my real phone (like at my local barber).

Thank god for the do-not-call list or our phones would never stop ringing. Stop whining and get a call blocker.

They called four times in two days.  The fourth time I answered by blowing a whistle very loud. No more calls from that number.  

So many calls. Answered once and he wanted email address. Said he was from secure id and when I told him no to request for email he said "ok ma'am wait for the brochure in the mail"

I have 3,313 reasons (so far) to say that the government "do not call" list is TOTALLY WORTHLESS!  That is how many violators have called my registered number.  In fact it is getting worse lately; 10 junk calls so far today, Monday April 28th.  This number is the 10th call today so I thought I would post my disgust on it.  If the same number calls several times, I just block it, but many of the scammers keep changing their number.  Of course, I never answer any of them.  I just check 800-notes to find out about the latest junk!  Thank you for your information!

The DNC is NOT the Democratic National Committee...it is the Do Not Call List.  Educate yourself before you start throwing out insults and assumptions.

What does the Democratic National Committees list have to do with it? You Republicans are always blaming all of your petty problems on the Democrats. Maybe you wouldn't get these sort of calls if you didn't spend so much time buying cheap Chinese made merchandise from telemarketer's.

Called 4/16/14 12:35 PM, 12:58 PM, 3:52 PM. Answering machine beeping for 3 messages (all blank) when I came home from work.

Secure ID. That means they are trying to sell you a secure ID, they are ashamed of who they are, or they are just cowardly scamers!

I have two people in a nursing home. I don't need these type of calls.

Jerks call me a second time today. Please arrest this caller and put them in prison for violating Do Not Call.

Called at 11:29 a.m. today - was a guy and I told him to please remove our number from his calling list.  They had attempted to call on 4/9/14 at 7:01 p.m., also.  
We are supposed to be on the Donotcall.gov list.

Calls from this number every couple weeks. We never pick up & no message left on machine. Caller ID says Secure ID or ID Watch.

I have gotten several calls now from this number. Caller id:SecureID. I think the area code is from Chicago. they won't leave a message and when  try and call back its an non-working number.If this was ligit then they would leave a message or it would be a working number when trying to call back..STOP CALLING and LEAVE all of us alone

They're not allowed to call unless they have had previous business you hump. Legitimate or not, they aren't supposed to cold call like that.

I receive calls from this number several times a day - leaves no message.  I wok during the day but when I get home I see the calls.  When I try to call back message says this is a non working number

One last thought, please manage to get into the phone call if you answer it to tell them "put me on your DoNotCall list". Then if they do call again they are brealing the law

The DoNotCall registry also lets you check to see if your number is on the DoNotCall registry and when you put it on. Mine was put on in 2008.

Same call as yesterday. Because I had looked up the number the day before and saw what it was about, I answered the phone this time. They asked if they could talk to my husband. I said no. She asked again and again I said no. I asked what this was about. She sarted right in to her pitch about the secure ID service. I asked where she got his name, she kept right on going, then I asked where she got this phone number. She then hung up.

My husband was recently old enough for Social Security. These types of calls are what we have been receiving since then. I am assumming names, numbers are being collected from this data base. The Illinois Secretay of State also sells our information as they are the only ones that have my true first name and middle initial. My friend just moved to Nevada and within one month they to were recieving unwanted mail etc with middle names no one else knows. She questioned that State and was finally told, well....no, we don't do that, but......

I am on the DO NOT CALL list, I have just recently started to file complaints against these types of phone numbers. The business will probably just use another number but at least this one will be on record and hopefully fined. Again, it is very easy, takes only a minute to do.

I have an SG3 Android phone, and you can click on the phone number, then the menu button, and select "add caller to reject list".  You will never have to deal with calls from this number again.  Not sure if all Android phones allow this, however.
