If you complete an after service phone survey, you will not be called again for 90 days. Glad I unearthed this site. I bought my Mitsu in September 08 and my wife and I have received several warranty and other scam-related calls from various sources over the last three months. I just took my car in for its first maintenance call on 12/31. Every day for the last week or so I've been getting multiple calls from this 312 number. A message is never left, and I screen most of my calls as well. I love my Mitsu, and I'd bet that it's not Mitsu directly responsible for these calls. More than likely it's a 3rd party vendor. Still sucks.

they call and hang up.  I do have a Mitsubishi but why would they call I answer and then they hang up.  Makes no sense.

Ive been getting this number on my caller ID several times a day for the las couple of weeks and I never answer. Today they actually left a voice mail! They were calling on behalf of Mitsubishi.. We recently bought a Mitsubishi car.

It may be JD Power & associates calling to see how the service was.  I had my vehicle services a couple of weeks ago and they told me a call would be coming.  I got the call today from that same number but they left no message.

They call me EVERY NIGHT about 7:00.  I never answer and they never leave a message!!!  Now I know never to answer!

After the first 2 calls (see above), I received a call everyday last week around 7pm.  On Friday, I get a call from my receptionist asking to transfer a call from Mitsubishi [city], which is where I bought my car.  I think the receptionish screwed up the transfer, i didn't talk to anyone and Mitsubishi never called back.  Today, after a week of peace, I get a call from this number again on my cell phone.  This time, I tried to answer it, figuring I'll just do the stupid survey and get it over with.  They hang up!  As soon as I answered!  Argh.

I bought a Mitsubishi a couple weeks ago and the calls have started!  I don't answer calls I don't know, but there is never a message.  How can they get them to stop?!

I too recently bought a Mitsubishi. I was away from my cell phone for awhile and when I picked it up and looked at it, I saw that I had a couple incoming calls from this number, wondered who it was from, did a search on the web whicg brought me to this site which makes sense now.
I am going to assume by the way most survey businesses work that they will keep calling until you actually answer them which is why there isn't any message left. They are very persistent and won't stop calling unless you tell them.  Your Mitsubishi salesman may have even told you you may be expecting this call and you may have just agreed to it while signing all your sales papers.

Thats hilarious.  I went in to libertyville mitsubishi to get a first quote from someone and got a real do***e bag salesman.  I told them I was ready to by that day.  I test drove the car, liked it, and we started talking numbers. He thought he had a sale for sure at a jacked up price, but I just used his dumb a** to test drive and get a ballpark quote on the car and went to schaumburg and got a WAY better price.  Now I am getting calls from this number..... pretty wierd......

I have not had my Mitsubishi serviced recently, and bought it summer 08. I just began receiving calls last week, and it rings once and they hang up. No voice mail, and when i call back it says the mailbox is full. I contacted Mitsubishi customer service and they said their phone numbers are all 314 area codes.... So annoying.

I am on my 7th call and of course return calls tell me the mailbox is full. Funny part I don't own nor have ever owned a Mitsubishi and have had my cell for several years so I don't think it is them trying to reach someone else. Right now at this rate I won't ever buy one.

It is a customer survey on behalf of Mitsubishi, it only took about 2 minutes to answer the questions.  My suggestion, answer once so they won't keep calling.

This number is from Mitsubishi.  We purchased our Galant in April of 2009 and every time we get an oil change done this number calls.  They usually do not leave a message and not sure why.  Finally one day we got tired of them calling and actually answered the call.  The person on the other end told us they were from Mitsubishi and were just doing a follow-up survey on the service we just had done to the car.  They just asked us how satisfied we were with the service that our dealership presented, for example;  Friendlyness, Timelyness, atmosphere etc...  Sometimes they ask you to rate on a 1 to 10 scale.  It is only a 5 question survey.  It helps them grade their different Mitsubishi stores across the country and if the dealership gets too many bad reviews, they go investigate.

We love our Mitsubishi but hate the calls!

I received 3 calls from this number 312 458 9168 but NO messages... I don't own or never owned any Mitsubishi products at all. Then why is Mitsubishi calling my number?
