i signed awhile back..I gave them my cell number which I don't use..I never answer to a number I don't recognize and wait to see if someone will talk..When they don't well guess what? I don't either.
Sure it gets annoying but eventually they do stop. I just wish it was sooner then later.

This number keeps calling my phone almost every 10 minutes and doesn't leave a message

CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES WITHIN A FEW MINUTES.  one time no answer only silence.

I got 4 call within 15 minutes from 2 different numbers. All because I was just LOOKING at health insurance online... WTH?

I was online searching for info on insurance. Just entered my phone #, thought about it and exited without sending. seconds later the phone rang from this number. Humana should look into their site. If it was not them they are being hacked.

Talked to the "agent" and he gave me address, email and name of person who inquired on line for insurance.
The funny thing is, all 6 calls could not be looked up.  Local or long distance numbers.
I looked up the person on line through the county GIS site and the name and address are legit.  But they have no phone number.  I don't want to try and email them then the scammers will get my email address to spam like crazy.  Which has been getting a ton a day for the last 6 months.
Just to fishy to have this happen all of a sudden by so many people.  Got to be a SCAM.
PS the "agent" seem to ask questions or had statements that were not needed to be known on his end when I told him what was going on with all of the calls in a minutes time.  Like number of people in my family and if I am in the city is (he named my city) even though the city given to me from was a suburb of my city.

make that 6 calls.  The local insurance company gave me his name, address and email to contact the guy.  I will investigate because he is local.

Seriuosly! got 5 calls in less than a minutes time.  I couldn't even anwser them!  The 3 I could said they are insurance companies responding to an online request and asked for Dave.  Which there is none here.
I smell a MAJOR scam that they all called this quick and fast.

I was signing up to get health insurance quotes from ehealthinsurance.com.  I had entered my phone number, hit the enter key, and was still looking at the next page with the plans listed when my phone started ringing from this number.  I don't answer any call from a number I don't know, so I Googled it and found this site. It seems likely that like others I was getting an insurance sales call.  No voice mail was left, so I cannot be sure, but it does seem likely this was an insurance salesperson from an autodialer. You'd think they would give you an option to at least finish reading the online quote before they started harassing you.  Fortunately, I can program the number to automatically not answer. 07/10/2012 - 9:10 pm

I am experiencing the same thing (07-05-12) I entered information on BlueCross website and am now getting tons of calls.

1-312-470-1783. Looks like they called from an extension. The only time I entire my number is on applications for jobs or school. The caller ID said "Customer SVC". Google didn't return any results, so I assume is a companies customer service number.

I didnt even give them my number...but I did recieve 2 phone calls so far...about 5 min from applying for quotes.

They called me 5 times within a half an hour SERIOUSLY? This is ridiculous.  I had to call twice and tell them to stop calling me or they would be reported. I asked them what was so darn important that they keep calling me.  They said we are insurance company, I told them to knock off the calls. VERY RUDE guy on the other end.

Called a couple of times left no message.

Some insurance company said I filled out something on their web site which is not rue.

Please stop calling my number immediately!

I have received more than 4 calls from this number in the past 60 minutes, each time without the caller leaving a message. About 30 minutes prior to the first call, I made an enquiry on line about personal health insurance. Given this telephonic nuissance by a sales-response team member or members, which I consider intrusive and aggressive, I am NOT inclined to make any purchase from the health insurance broker or organization that authorizes calls without leaving voicemail messages on a Sunday afternoon.

Requested health insurance quote online....Submitted the information requested...Before I could take my finger off the mouse I recieved a phone call from a so called insurance agent giving me a quote. Said he was in Florida but knew this was a chicago number. Told him I was just shopping around and would need to get back with him. The toll free number he gave me is registered to a business called interplanetary media in North Brook Illinois. When you search for information on this company it says it is a computer software firm. It also lists one of the businesses of this company as a computerized switch board company. There is nothing about insurance related to this company...Also claimed they were in Ft Lauderdale FL. Knew when he said "oh you're in clearwater, we're right by you in Ft Lauderdale...Other coast 250 - 300 miles away.

just finished filling out an online health insurance quote and was flooded with calls from this area code and a few others. actually spoke with one dude and it seems as they are supposed to be helping you find an affordable program (which i thought i was doing fine with that on my own comparing quotes and such in the first place)    ugh what ever just give it a rest already!
