I never answer.  They keep calling.  Is there no end to this aggravation?

Sunday afternoon and got another call from these SOBs
Really tired of this.

Called and spouse hung up on them.

This idiot just called me and called me by name, stating "Hey Joy, What's the deal with the paint?!"

I hung up.  A sales call is bad enough, but what an ignorant-sounding sales approach.  He's not going to get many sales that way.  I can't tell you how STUPID he sounded!

I work / live @ my almost 90 yr old mom's home during the week. I try to screen her calls.
Man calls "Mrs. B... (knows my mom's name) what your next  project?" I ask politely who's calling ? He says RAY & I tell him that I am the daughter, have lived here for over a year & have no idea who he is.
He can't get off the phone fast enough !
I called back via caller ID & got "The Magic Jack customer is not available."
I reported ph# to FCC & particulars of call as well as info from this site & another re: the phone #.
My mom was a victim of elder abuse by a pumbing contractor right after my father passed & this will not happen again if I have anything to say about it.

he terminates calls immediately.
i work by remote from her home.
it is unfrickin believable the calls she gets 2 try 2 scam her

Have received several calls from this number and I am on a do not call list. I do not know how to make it stop.

Called this morning and spouse hung up on them.

Male called around1:00pm; knew my name and asked if we had a project done on our home. I asked "who is calling?" He said "Crown." "Can you hear me?" "Do you need rain gutters on your house?" I said "No, and this phone number is on the do-not-call list. You can get in trouble for calling this number."  He responded "do not get me in trouble!"  I asked him not to call me again and hung up.  He was rude, aggressive and obnoxious.

When I answer a number I don't recognize and they ask for me by name, I say that person's not home but I will take a message. They NEVER leave a message but say they'll call another time. (If it's someone I want to talk to, they'll start to leave a message but I'll jump in and explain.) It works every time (including with this number).

I am on the DNC list so I chose to ignore a phone call that I received today on a hunch I checked  my caller id it and I saw that this particular number has attempted to contact me 5 timesand at different times in the month of December 2012!  
Today I contacted my to phone company to blocked this particular phone number.

This number called and identified itself as Chris............

Keep receiving these annoying calls!

Got a call from this number this morning.  The person called me by my first name (I go by my middle name) so I knew it was a sales call. I had answered in a normal tone, but the caller said "(first name), Get screwed, I'm gonna come 'f____'  you up."  I'm concerned because if this person has my home number he likely has my home address too.
The number seems to be close to my home.

Get calls from these creeps all the time.  Number is usually spoofed.  THEY CALLED ON A SUNDAY MORNING NO LESS.  Calling on the Sabbath is a grave sin and these people need to be punished.  I am thinking about writing a story for a movie about a hit squad of vigilantes who have had enough of these scum bags calling and hunt them down and make them listen to thousands of hours of endless drivel from Rachel and her cohorts.  Just dreaming.  Remember that guy who got the email about the P***S enlargement RX and thought it was personal and went to Canada to find the guy who sent it to him to BLEEP him?  How many on this web site have reached the same point?  Just asking.

Same here.  No ID, no message.  They buy our names and numbers from companies that we have done business with.  Very aggravating.

I agree -- Looks like a scam and/or very aggressive telemarketer.  The guy called on a Sunday morning on MY unlisted phone number and asked for my husband (we have separate, unlisted numbers).  I told him it was a wrong number.  I'd like to know where these guys get their info ...

How the HELL do we stop these idiots??  what is the DO NOT CALL LIST for if these POSs are going to ignore it and the government not enforce it??  

I have been getting almost daily... call from remodel companies and they act like they are your best friend.  I'm tired of it...

and the kicker is...  they call on number that ARE NO LONGER IN SERVICE.  how the hell they get by with that?   I've called by local Congressman, and he says it's call SPOOFING.  showing a phone number that is not in service.  the Congressional aid did say it was AGAINST THE LAW to misrepresent yourself on the phone!!

if we all inundated our government reps, maybe they'd do something about it.

I got a call and got the same old spiel, "we're in the neighborhood" and we "wonder if you would like to have anything done "and "we're a home-improvement company" and so forth.  I told them we're on the do not call list, but this woman kept on talking.  I finalloy shouted at her that we are making a complaint and to tell her crew leader that we are making a complaint and that the fine is $10,000.  (At least I think that is correct)  Then I hung up.  She or someone called again a few minutes later  we just picked up and slammed down the phone.  Don't know what it takes to STOP these people.  The company she said she represented was something called CNC development.   And she kept calling me by my first name.  Total jerk.  I hope the FCC does something.

I just got a call.  The CallerID showed California.  Some guy asked for me by name and then said he was calling from Crown Home Center.  I asked who the Hell they are and the scumbag telemarketer hung up.  I called back and got a recording saying the MagicJack customer I was calling was unavailable.  In addition to filing a complaint with the FTC, I'm going to see if there is any kind of complaint line for MagicJack.  I'm finding most of these telemarketing scum are using it.
