I've been corresponding with these people for the last two days via text, email and I have a voice recording. They said they chose me to be their tenant and their attorney's name: Sam Olsen (mind you that name is the Attorney General of GA and his phone number is 312-473-0023) You honestly think that the Attorney General is traveling viewing homes to rent!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! I am saving all my information and handing it over to the Authorities. I know I won't see the $500 but it's A HARD LESSON LEARNED! I should have noticed that when I looked at the Zillow site it had three different agents, and they were so persistant in receiving the money but refused to give me ANY information. ALSO BEWARE OF THESE NUMBERS as it is involved with them: 281-845-7655, 405-367-5808 and 405-563-3108.
 They say they have a house, needed to move because of the job and now the house is vacant. Will charge $1200 incl utilities in a gated community. $1000 down. They will Fedex the keys and the attorney will come visit to sign the papers. She says she's a God fearing woman. He has a thick accent, sounds from the islands. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! Got the same email and phone call today. Ridiculous!  I am tired of so many scams out there wasting our time. If anyone has found away to report these crooks, please let everyone else know. It would be my pleasure to keep things like this from happening again!

Yes, they were trying to scam me for two days, I let them to believe that I was stupid. Finally, I said to he that I am no interesting anymore because it was unclear situation. And yes the trying to collect money from rents..

I am Living the His Property Now but i am scared of the whole comments about his Number,He's A nice man and will be visiting me December.

Got a call from that number today on a house in Boise Idaho. $700 including all utilities. We drove by last night and there were cars in the driveway and you could see someone in the house talking on the phone. I e mailed the contact and told them that something was fishy that people were in the  house. As soon as I did that I started getting calls from this number. The person wanted me to send the $700 for the rent , without going into the house and then she would send the keys. This was on Craigslist but also on Truvia and Hotpad. I am so glad I checked out that phone number.

This guy call me about a house in Miami, Florida and took 800.00 from me.

Just got a call from this guy claiming he owned a home in Nashua NH everything includes. I Knew it was to good to be true! Fraud!

He tried to rent me a home for 1200$ and a 700$ deposit including utilities in Hampton Bays, NY. He gave me The address 1909 Howard Drive Amarillo, Texas 79106 to where I'd pay the deposit to, in return for the keys to the house. I'd pass by the house constantly and it always seemed like someone lived there. So I searched the address and it belongs to Theresa Hansen, who seems to also scam people for money.

So how do we report this guy?
I figured this was a shady character after speaking with him over the phone.
I found a rental listing on Truvia:
10052 Edye Drive, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
$1300/month $700/deposit

I did further research, it turns out that this property was just listed for sale!! The guy or group post ads for rent on new residential real estate listings. I was a sucker at first so I drove by the property. Of course there was no one around to speak with nor any real estate signs.

I then typed the address into Google to find the listing details and the listing agent. These people do there homework. He identified himself as the Kevin Segawa. Kevin Segawa is the homeowner on the Grant deed. For those of you that aren't aware; this information is filed under public record so it is available to anyone with computer access. COMPLETE FRAUD.

Got an email from this guy using the name Imane Khalil on a property he had listed HOTPAD to rent in Albuquerque NM  on 9921 Corona Avenue NE.


He claims he own the property and is renting it for $1,200 a month which includes utilities.

His English is not that great but the property on Google is nice but I decided not go for his sales pitch.

Was this the same address he was offering you to rent?
