Someone called a family of mine with this number as well and reported problems with Windows. Of course it sounded bogus so she didn't give out any personal information. She asked how the person attained her phone number and what their name was and they did not provide any additional information. SCAM!

this absolutely wrong these are very good people. they provided me tech services on very cheaper cost and they help me if i have any sort of problem with my computer.

Today, my aunt got a phone call supposedly from Microsoft saying you were getting many problem messages from her computer and they gave her the website address to verify the call (which is probably how they gained access to her computer).   They said that her computer has a virus and they wanted to delete the virus.  She was really uneasy about this supposed contact from Microsoft. That is when she contacted me.

MICROSOFT WILL NEVER CALL OR OFFER SERVICES UNLESS REQUESTED BY YOU!!!

They downloaded a file called "aa-V3 .exe " and she said they started looking at her email and said that would need to be changed. At this point she shut down her computer and unplugged her DSL modem.
I now have her computer and removed all of the programs and changes they made. Fortunately, I am a Microsoft Certified Tech and MSE so it was easy to figure out what they had done.

They gave her a company name of Ammyy Administrators, 108 W 13th Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, but the phone # they used shows Chicago, Illinois.
This is another number that sounds like these so-called support techs use.213-550-1062
