These are spammers working for the republican party. If they include phone numbers they are phone numbers of democratic opponents campaigns. They are trying to shut down the democrats phones. Dirty tricks!

i got an unwanted text from this address. i googled it and they are coming from a known group of spammers called CC advertising

They shouldn't be allowed to send messages, period. I've tried to find where to contact them, and tell them to stop, and find nothing...

I've had 2 of these invasive texts on my cell in 2 days. I don't even give out my cell, or use it, except to immediate family. I am already inundated on my landline with robocalls from both parties.

Please, anyone with an idea how to stop it, tell me. It's a LONG way to November, and it's only going to get worse.

texted me 9 times in the span of 9 hours.. at times like 12:17, 1:18, 2:18, 3:18 and so forth.. ridiculous!

Received a similar message with this call back number.  How do I block it?

I received a text on my cell phone from womenformitt@voteoutbarackpbama.com telling me to listen to the message at this number.

Strange political rantings are not desirable.  Bad marketing, bad idea.

Here are some suggestions to t-bone how to track the people down.  

voteoutbarackobama.com is registered anonymously via GoDaddy.  It was created April 13 2012 just a few days ago. Go Daddy will have a record, in this case it is not public.  You may need to get a court order.


Since the number 312-569-0397 has a message that is consent with text message you can file suit and trace the phone number back to an owner via the local phone company

Those are two places to start.
