Got a call from them right after lunch today June 20, 2014.
They did not leave a message.

This number is the American Bar Association. If you are not an attorney, just have your number removed from the prompt when you call the number back.

My business number got a call from 312-588-7690 at 8:57 this morning. Joke was on them since I have it programmed not to ring until 9:00 in the morning. No message left, naturally. The comment above from "Good Samaritan" is interesting, however, because I am indeed in the practice of law and I am not an ABA member. Thus, it would make some sense for them to be trying to get me to join, though I have no interest in doing so and I would not respond to phone solicitations in any event!

I think this is a company that various groups contract to solicit.  The caller was asking me to join the American Bar Association.

This is the first time I received a call from "Chicago Radio".   Needless to say they didn't leave a message.  Just another crap call.

This number was on my call listing when I returned from vacation - not sure who it is - caller ID states Chicago

these people are nutz, they call and call and call and dont get the hint.

Their from WNUA, 95.5  got a call from this yesterday regarding a trip to Hawaii

called today 14 times 9 times in an hour about every 6 minutes never left a message. in the past 5 days they have called 25 times

Nobody is answering on the other line and do not leave a message either.  Worst part, it keeps on calling evry 30 mins for 3 days now.  It's very ANNOYING!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have your answer.  

Anybody living in Chicago might remember a radio host named "Mancow" who was fired from his radio station a few years back.  As you might recall, a large portion of his show was spent doing "Phone Scams" where somebody calls you acting like a business or something and tries to get you upset or make you sound stupid.  This is what this is.  "Mancow" is still on other small radio stations across the country, but he still does his show out of Chicago.

I'm sure that they even set up the PHONEY ORC Protel Website.  If you were a business would you really hire a company with a website that looks like that?  Especially a large bank like Wells Fargo.

Any calls from (312) 588-7690, (708) 418-7400 or any variations are these (fill in your vulgar term of choice) that work for Mancow.

Hence, why some folks have had the caller ID say "Chicago Radio."

Calls about 5-6 times a day...very annoying.  I've been on DNC forever :)

MAKE IT STOP!  They NEVER Stop calling!!!  I do not want calls from this number and they never leave a message if we don't answer, they just hang up..  Get a clue!

These people call my cell phone about 10 times a day. I don't recognize the number so I am not wasting minutes on it by picking it up. They never leave a voicemail message or anything. Both my home and cell numbers are on the DNC list and have been for months, yet these people always call. I'm getting sick of it.

National telemarketing firm that calls on the behalf of several national and regional companies.

Thats part of the message I got when I called them back.  So they could be calling for anyone.  

They say the company name first and I could not make it out.

After the third time, I answered.  Eventually someone said they were from the radio station, The Lite, which I think is WLIT in Chicago, and The Lite wanted to pay my bills.  Sorry, I don't listen to The Lite.  Call Ended.

Just received a call from this number and i have no clue who or what it is. They have called me now a few times.?? any ideas?

I have received multiple calls from this number.  I haven't picked up yet, but I plan to next time to find out if there is a recorded message or a person on the line.

Yeah! just to report also that I got call from this " chicago radio" too last night. This mean that they are still calling around. Luckily, I decided not to answer but let the machine came on first. They hung up right away. Thanks for all of your reports here when I am checking...So I can be alert and " ignore" it.

I'm on DNC list also. Figured it was a telemarketer or survey and never answered. Today was about the 6th time they've called. I took the advice from above and called back. There are options to either add your # to the DNC list or just to ORC Protel's list.

just got a call from 3125887690.  we also recieved one yesterday.  we are on the do not call list & usually just let these unknown calls go straight to the machine.  we dont enter any contests so we knew not to bother answering.

I just called the # back and there is a auto-attendant that allows you to be added to their do not call list and I also reported them on www.donotcall.gov

i got this call a few times, each during the day when no one is home.i dont know who they are or what they want, and they didnt leave a message

Got a call on 12/8 around Noon by 312-588-7690.  Just saw it on my caller ID.  I wasn't around to answer and they didn't leave a message.  I was hoping I just won a new Mercedes or something. The "588" exchange caught my attention:
