I've found the desires respons to tele-markers. If you've got north america toll free,and a bit of free time, phone them back. Keep them on the line as long as possible. At the end, tell them you are just wasting their time like they are doing to you! Gov't and the phone companies are not doing anything to help. Be pro-active!

I received Calls from this Number for a few weeks and like many thought it was telemarketers. I actually called and found out what they do. Our Company does a Lot of LTL and Full truckload Shipping and we frequently used freight quote for our shipping. ECHO has beat freight quote prices on every single occasion and has saved us tons of money over the Past few months. If you are not a company that deals with shipping freight, yes these may be seen as spam but if you do I would highly recommend using this company to find great shipping rates with other carriers.

They called my cell. I answered - no one there- what a waste of my time

A woman asked for the shipping department.  I asked her what she needed as we have multiple "departments" in shipping.  She said, "Oh, I need to talk to whomever decides what shipping service to use."  So yes, telemarketing call and the Caller ID said "Echo."  I'm not even sure our shipping department has the authorization to change shipping companies.  I'm pretty sure that's decided by our Corporate bigwigs.

If this has "saved" your business then I suggest you close up shop now.

We own a trucking company, and they just called and said "Flat Bed Dispatch".  I asked him to repeat himself, because he mumbled.  He repeated it, and I asked him if he was looking for a company, or if he was looking for a flat bed.  He just hung up on me.  I am on the do not call registry, and have turned them in.  It really doesn't pay to be rude.

Good catch - What an odd way to market.  Annoying calls, fake comments on an annoying caller directory.
Someday I hope to actually keep them on the line for a few minutes, just to jack with them for jacking with others.  Good times.

JERKS hung up on me when I answered.  I have a customer with the Echo name, but so that is why I answered.  The ECHO number is going on my JERK LIST.  I print the list and put it by the phone so I never answer again.  JERKS.

A "Joel" keeps calling everyday for the shipping clerk but is always given her voicemail and simply doesnt get that we are not interested in there services. Very annoying.

Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Have asked to be removed from their calling list but I still get calls.  No way would I ever use this company.

They call all the time, we are not interested.  This time they just asked for shipping and receiving.  I asked if they were bringing in a load or picking up a load the caller responding picking up a load.  I asked him for which customer and he hung up on me.  NO way are we going to do business with someone who lies and is so unprofessional

The call our company a couple times a year. Always tell them the same thing. We have our own fleet of delivery trucks, and don't do out of state work or shipping. That generally keeps them to the twice a year calls.

Calls and hangs up.

Got a call, they asked for the shipping department (thats me) I told her that I was the shipping and she hung up. Was kinda lame, if they are a broker I would love to talk to them, we are always shopping rates.

Caller said nothing, paused, then hung up.  Annoying.

Folks - get real.  Buy a call blocking phone.  

We have a Uniden office-style phone in our office and we have a Panasonic phone in our home.  The Uniden has a very convenient wireless handset and the Panasonic has 4 wireless handsets scattered around the house.

Press a few buttons and NO MORE WORRIES!

Now!! GIVE ME A BREAK !!!! Who would leave positive messages here unless they are working for the telemarketer............don't believe that crap about this being a nice company, THEY ARE JUST SCUMBAG TELEMARKETERS like the rest of them.

I don't know if this will help, but years ago Echo was recommended to me by another company in my line of business (specialty food) for my shipping needs and so I tried them and have been very happy since they save me a lot of money and are great to deal with.  Usually an account like my business is has their own rep from echo and that is the only person who you talk to there.
This is not a plug for them nor am I affiliated with Echo except that I am a happy customer of 5 years plus. My business is greenes gourmet dot com if you doubt it.
Nevertheless I wonder why they would do solicitation calls (I have never experienced this), I hate spam calls.

Called my personal cell at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. Man returned my greeting with an apology stating he'd dialed a wrong number. Then hung up.
Did not identify himself or even ask if he'd dialed wrong.

We have used Echo Logistics for a while, and this is just their office number.
I have never had a problem with them, and in fact, think they have fairly good rates.
We deal with Scott and he has never been anything but helpful, prompt and friendly.

People pleeez!! Echo is a real company (www.echo.com) just looking for business. Their persistance has paid off, they are making money hand over fist. Unfortunately, as with everything, not EVERYONE will be happy with the way they go about it. Ask to have your number removed & move on with your life. Things could be a lot worse than some annoying phone calls. Call & report them to whoever you want, that's the cost of doing business. At the end of the day the only one mad is you!

called my business line at 10:10am.  I let the answer machine take the call.  No message left.

Woman called asked for Rob Last Name(which she said was the companies name lol) I corrected her and told her our company name and sent her to Voice mail.  If they dont even know what company they are calling idk how they are making money lol

Some bi*** just called asking to speak with my shipping department. I told her she had wrong number and she hung up on me.

Talk to Aaron Leckow, VP of Inside Sales, a call over at Echo Global Logisitics.  He is supposed to remove your number off the list.  We'll see if he actually does...  I have tried to ignore these jokers but after 2 months straight I finally gave up and called them back.  The receptionist passed me along to Aaron who I left a voicemail requesting that I be removed immediately...
