Received call on 3-5-08 telling me on my ans. machine to call immediately that I had been pulled as a winner for a Ford ? car?   I deleted this and do not have the phone number they gave to call back, sorry

Left message saying I had won a brand new SUV and to call back at ??? didn't get number. Caller ID number different from number he gave me.

This is another lame sweepstakes scam where I have not entered any contest, but it seems I have won a Ford truck or Lincoln Navigator. Woohoo! You can keep 'em buddy. Don't need to pay for the fuel.

Received the same message on my machine as the others above, only I thought it was a prank call from my brother.  This guy has a cartoon voice!  Anyway, same story about the Ford or Lincoln Navigator.  I KNOW I would never have entered a sweepstakes for those huge cars.  Who needs to spend that much money on gas?  I haven't bothered to call back to find out what he's up to.  Thanks everyone else for reporting.  This is great! Why don't the police get involved with this?

Caller left message to call Samuel Key at toll free number: 877 556 7527 immediately.  I did call back and talked with Sam.  He told me that I would definitely win one of four prizes, a 2008 Fort Explorer or $25,000 in cash, a cashier's check for $2,500, or 7-day Bahamas trip for two, or a 32 inch flatscreen TV.  All I had to do was come in to listen to a presentation by West Gate.  

I asked Sam if this was a time share promotion, and he got a bit critical with me.  Sam said this was a large company and didn't I want to win a prize?  So I asked when I had to show up for the prize.  Sam told me Friday at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm.  I would get a scratch ticket, just like a lottery ticket, just for coming in.  However, it was impossible for me to take work off so I asked Sam if there was another time.  He told me I could also come in on Saturday, but I had to call him back within the hour.  Instead of calling him back, I checked out West Gate on Google and found some very unhappy stories about their time shares.

As the old addage states, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Call Scammer named Jason Leigh who tells you you have won one of 4 prizes and you need to show up tomorrow with a passport, drivers license and major credit credit card to scratch off lucky ticket.  TOTAL SCAM!  Don't be fooled!

He was rude and couldn't give me any info on the company.  I told him I was going to research the info and he told me never mind, that he was just going to give my prize away.

They also called me today. When I read Sweepstakes Pro on my caller ID I didn't answer. They left a message saying that I had entered a sweepstake for a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer SUV (which I didn't do) and I was one of the finalists. The message said it was imperative that I called back at 1-877-844-4386 ext. 20 and ask for Pete Fox. However, the caller ID shows another number: 708-535-0892. I never called. Hope this helps any of you who get a call from this number.

They have ANOTHER NUMBER NOW.  They called me from 708-679-1814 and the caller ID said "Sweepstakes Pro." They left a message and said "This call is in response to the entry you submitted to win a brand new SUV.  This is our last attempt to try to reach you."  I called 1-877-439-4491 per their request and was to ask for Ms. Ball.  I GOT A RECORDING:  "This number has been disconnected."  I hung up.  A man immediately called me back from 708-679-1669 (My caller I.D. showed "Ash Rose" and he said his assistant tried to transfer me and lost me.  (b.s.!) I asked how they got my name.  He said I either filled out something at an event, at the mall or online to win an SUV.  (I knew I did not).  He asked me what my name is.  I said I was not interested and he said "Well then, don't fill out any more entry forms!"  I said "OKEY DOKEY!"

just got the call today with number 312-674-4653.... I wonder if anyone has called back and has been able to talk to anyone...

I just got a phone call from Jason Lee and on the caller ID it said "sweepstakepromo" and the phone number was 312-674-4676.  I couldn't get a pen fast enough, while the recording was on, to write down the number I was suppose to call to claim my prize.  Since I enter a lot of sweeps I thought "Oh, ----"!.....I lost  my chance to win a car or something.  I do feel so much better after reading all your comments.  Thank you. I found you by going to google and typing in sweepstakepromo.

I got the same message today.  Same name Jason Lee.  I didn't call back.

I didn't answer the phone since the Caller IDed as Sweepstakepromo. But he left a message! This Jason Lee said I won a SUV..yeah right. SCAM SCAM SCAM! We don't enter any sweepstakes in order to keep our number PRIVATE!

They must be using a number generator. His number has been blocked on my line.

This is the second scam from two different companies in less then a week! Are the scammers getting more numerous?

Got an automated call saying "this is our last attempt to reach you regarding the contest you entered to win an SUV.   Call back 1-877-999-2946 and ask for Jason Lee.    My favorite part was when he said "Axe for Jason Lee".

answered phone voice said call back to 888-999-2946 ext 4786 ask for jason lee.   called back and it is verizon phone service.  *69 and got 312 674 4673 if it answers it just says goodbye
