Who calls from this number and what do they want.

Just got a call from this number asking for my name. When I asked who is calling,. they hung up. When I called the  number back it was disconnected. Who do we report these scams to?

I had ordered testing strips through a diabetic supply company. I had to cancel when I lost my insurance. I get calls telling me I can get an updated meter with the pretense of selling me more strips. On the last call she kept asking questions, but then she asked for my insurance info. She had neglected to tell me her name or the company she was calling from. I asked her what company was she calling from. She wouldn't say. She just said that I was entitled to a new meter. I said I don't need a new meter or more strips. She started yelling that I was wasting her time. I hung up on her.

This is a scam caller. A few years ago a friend told me about a medical supply company that provided supplies at a low cost.  Since I'm on a fixed income, I called the company and ordered from them.  Since that time I have been getting constant calls from all kinds of scammers.  Phony diabetic supply scammers, senior assistance scammers, credit card scammers. I've won something free scammers.

You name a con or a scam and they've called me.

They want your personal information to steal your identity  And they are ruthless.  I once faked a heart attack while talking to one of these guys. and all the while I'm telling him that I need to call an ambulance,  he was still trying to get my information.  

Tell them nothing.  Don't even engage them in conversation.  If I don't recognize the number, or if the number doesn't have a name associated with it, I let it go to voice mail. Any one calling for a legitimate purpose will leave a message.  And even then check it out online before you call.

These people are quite literally human cockroaches.

I just didn't answer, I let it go to voice mail but of course they left no message.  I am diabetic and my daughters have been looking for houses.

Got a phone call from this number, 312-683-9064. The female person asked a lot of questions regarding insurance, income and such basically  wanting a lot of personal information.  When I hung up and tried to call it back there was a recording stating the number had been disconnected?  I haven't been looking for a house nor a job.

interesting.  I've also been looking for houses, but don't remember entering my phone number (although I have used my phone to search).  I wonder where they are getting the number?  How can I report them?

I have been getting calls from this number too. I to have applied for jobs inline but the callers started for me after doing apartment searches. And I'm not even lookng for apartments or jobs in Illinois.

I forgot to add, I have also been applying for jobs on line.  I have had problems in the past with USAJobs and getting weird phone calls after applying on that web site.  I try to avoid applying through them, sometimes it is the only alternative.  What to do now?

this number has called be twice today.  Rings three times and hangs up.

I just got a call.. No voicemail. I've been applying for Jobs online, I thinik it might have something to do with that or house and apartment searching. Anyone else?
