Rec'd call to day in AM, caller said hello once but did not respond to my 3 hellos. Heard lots of background chatter and keyboard typing so must be a call center maybe Allstate since I have their insurance.

I got a call from this number. The caller said they were All State and were running a promotion for their auto club. I just thought it was odd the number came up as "Caller Unknown" on the caller ID and wanted to check it out.

It is Allstate, but it is a limited time promotion for their Auto Club membership offering a program that competes with AAA. In order to view the membership materials, you agree to a two month trial for their special rate (today is $1.99); if you want to cancel you have to call them or it will automatically bill you for the membership.

I believe this is associated with Allstate. I've been getting calls from Louisiana as well as this 312 and both seem to be Allstate related which makes sense because I was in a wreck recently.
