Has anyone gotten a call from this number saying they can lend them 4000.00 if they give them 187.00 on a greendot card and then wants 99.00 off their bank account which "of course" they get back" with the 4000.00 loan ther're going to get deposited in their account. We don't have much money, christmas is coming up and my aunt thaught she was helping me with a loan but I have this very bad feeling this is a scam. Anyonyone else get anything else like this?

As we have never advertised on Kijiji before we were not aware of this scam but we were told by a friend after we replied to the first e-mail to always Google any e-mails wanting to purchase in this manner and to see the similar scams they have tired in the past and low and behold here we've become apart of the WARNING chain.   Tell them Cash & in person only and delete them as you don't want to be caught up in a potential mess you can?t get out of.

After a few other email it the one from PayPal that got me as it was truly believable as it look and could get to the PayPal home page. The big point on this after talking with the real PayPal they will NOT hold any moneys. Look and info your self before sending any moneys by MoneyGram...

Same thing happened to me. I even set up a paypal account and sent her a invoice then something inside clicked and I googled her name. Damn scam artists!!

Got the same message as everyone else, mine was on May 11th, 2012. Replyed that if they bring Canadian CASH to my bank for counterfiet check and deposit then thay can have the car. Stops them dead in their tracks everytime. just like the a cockroach.

Got a very strange message:

Yea had the same message with wanting to pay for my bike that was advertised on Kijji and wanted to pay through paypal. Said they we at sea and did not have access to their bank account but could pay through pay pal. I said that would not work i would only accept emailed money transfers haven;t heard back, so just be aware folks.
