Some Indisn guy with a heavy accent answers when I call back and I cannot understand what he is saying when he pronounces the business name. Likely a scam.

So the first call I get is from 312.788.9200; a younger middle eastern gentleman informing me that my loan application has been approved!  Imagine my shock and awe considering I have not applied for any loans.  He lets me know that I can have a loan for $5,000.  I promptly tell him that this will definitely NOT work for me and that I need 10 million dollars.  "WHAT!" he exclaims.  I repeat myself and he does a bit of calculations and lets me know that I would need to pay...get this 800notes folks...$2,000 a month for 60 months to repay this debt!  Yes, you read correct, no need to adjust your monitors.  That comes out to a whopping $120,000, which doesn't even scratch the surface of the $10,000,000 I am going to "borrow".  

I am then informed that I would need to "show" $1,500 in what I could only assume is a good faith or down payment toward my $10m loan.  However they can only accept payments through an HBC prepaid card (Fishy, right?).  He was prompt with locations close to my area (he had an old address of mine, thankfully I moved years ago).  I said, "With this kind of scratch, I'd feel much more comfortable giving you a cashiers check in person.  Let's meet today sugar."  Although I think that the subtle innuendo was lost on him, he had to clear the check thing with his manager who had to call me back in 15 minutes.

I received another call, approximately 15 minutes later, from 312.788.9411 (This does lead me to think that they do have at least the 9000 block of numbers reserved, or a portion anyway, but I digress).  The manager said that although I was approved for the $5,000 loan initially, and that I did request the $10,000,000 loan, the most that they could offer would be $1,000,000 and this would be considered a business loan.  I feigned shock and disappointment, but reluctantly accepted considering the terms were the same and after all, I would still be getting $1,000,000 for nearly 10% of that, who could resist!?!  

Then it was time to argue over how to "show" them $1,500.  The manager was extremely careful never to call it a deposit.  He only would say things like, "Show us $1,500 to secure your $1,000,000" or things of that nature.  It was astounding.  I kept trying to get him to meet me, telling him that he sounds like a strapping young man and once I had the $1,000,000 I would essentially be rich, so he *should* want to meet me to collect my deposit, but he didn't want any part of that.  He hung up but ended up calling right back...THREE TIMES!!!

He was adamant that they use this HBC prepaid card to "Show the $1,500 to us".  After an hour of going back and forth with both of these two, I finally asked where can I see the loan documents so that I can review them and have everything filled out and learn more about their company, he tells me that there is nothing to fill out.  I was told that this is a *purely online process*, nothing needs to be done other than to "Show" them the $1,500.  

I say to him, "Sweetie, you are making me nervous now,  We have come all of this way together and I thought you cared about me.  How do I know what website is so I can review the loan application or anything like that?"  This shook him, but he rambles off a loan number (1346792) and a website that was so fast and his access was so fast, I couldn't catch it because of how thick his accent was.  I promised him, just to put him at ease that I was going to "rush" out and grab this HBC prepaid card with $1,500, but in passing I said, "Sugar, what was your website again?"  Now he was mad.  I am *pretty* sure he said:

I got the www for sure.  CASH was definite and I am 73% sure about secure.  He mumbled the rest and his accent was THICK.  After that he said he would call me back later and hung up...BAM.  

I love having fun with these jokers.  It gets them to offer more information out of them too, so hopefully this helps some of you out.  Enjoy y'all...SkizzNott

Keeps calling from a Chicago number. Indian man keeps telling me I was approved for a loan. I never applied. I hang up and within five min same guy call back from a New Jersey telephone number saying same thing about a loan.

Wait To See if That Person Would Leave a Voice Message on My Cell Ph.? But When I called To Check for Any Voice Message's there Was No Message on My Cell Ph. (If I were you & It happens again? I Strongly Urge you Go Ahead & Call the Police in The Sate that you are in & describe To The Police What's Going On..) I Hope That helped.

Some how my cell was not on the do not call list so, I been receiving call from telemarketer prank cell phone calls I called this number back from my work number and indian man answered stated company name USC??

Same here - "approved for a loan" etc... etc...  - told them to screw off and hung up on them

a man with a thick middle east / indian accent calls from this number to let me know my loans for $5000 had been approved. i told him i never applied for a loan and how the application was submitted. he says online...... i tell him that it is a fraud and to lose my info and that i know its a scam.

i then called the federal trade commission and the attorney generals office to file complaints.

the scammer called back and i let him know that he had a lot of guts calling back and that i had already reported him to the attorney general and the federal trade commission.  he then became irrate and began swearing at me and said he couldn't believe how ignorant i was.....  lol. ok then i guess.   he then called me a mother fu**er in a low, trying to be intimidating tone.  i laughed some more at him and he finally hung up.

SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER THIS GARBAGE

CALL THIS NUMBER AND HARASS THE HELL OUTTA THEM.  TIE UP ALL THEIR LINES.

I got a calls yesterday and today from this number.  Yesterday the man said his name was michael johnson,
which I doubt because his Indian accent was so heavy I could barely understand him.  I also was offered a $9500
grant but hung up.  I wish these people would leave us alone.

Multiple phone calls from this number...

I just received a phone call from an Indian speaking man stating that I was approved for a 5,000.00 dollar loan. I asked him how he got my name and phone number since I do not have a home land line I have only my cell phone. The man did not answer and just hung up. I will be pulling and checking my credit reports and bank statements.

This phone number keeps blowing up my phone, and when I finally did answer today also had an Indian gentleman telling me I was approved for a $9,500 grant that I can use to pay for anything. I have not applied for any loans or grants and promptly hung up on them however, they have continued to call all afternoon. Very frustrating and reaching the point of harassment.

number calls me and I miss it then call back and some Indian guy answers and gets belligerent with me calling me a mf so I get angry cuss him back then hang up so he calls me back cussing me he hangs up

Creepy guy who wouldn't speak very loudly answered when I called this number back. He asked me my name and where I was calling from. Then he asked if I was alone. I asked what that mattered and he said it was a private matter. I told him that was b***s*** and to stop calling me.

Heavily accented man with speach about medical compensation owed to me... hung up, but they keep calling back.

got a call at 7 pm. man with an indian accent asked about me. he identified himself as from legal department in federal crime enforcement. he said that i didn't pay tax in 2012 and that i would be taken to court unless i resolve it now and pay a penalty over the phone.....

These people are calling my daughter over and over and I've told them to stop a numerous amount of times and have threatened calling the police.... They still call over and over....

I received 3 calls from this indian man about some loan that he said I applied for.  When I said I didn't know what he was talking about he started to get irate and tell me I am committing fraud.  I said to send me information in writing.  

Keep Getting calls from this number... Every time I answer they hung up... Finally, I answer with a soft voice pretending to by my elderly mother.. They answer me and ask for my mother, I pretended to be naive, they started to try to sell me healthcare insurance.. after a few minutes.. I scream at top of my longs, with a very wicked voice, GO TO HELL!!!!! and hung up.. never got another call so far!!! If they won't quit, have fun with these idiots!

Received this number calling our business line.  The people who are calling are asking for several different people, we advise them there is no one here by that name.  We get cussed at and then hung up on.  Won't say who they are or what company they are with.

Man asked for someone that i have never heard of. Told him he had the wrong number. He continues to call, and says creepy things like he loves me. Very wary of this guy.

I to have gotten calls over and over from this number who is also an indian man who will not do anything but hang up on me when asked to be removed and wants to know why i am harrassing him!?!?! I have gotten these calls over and over for the past few days about a loan or that i applied online for this. I havent put in anything online for any loan! how can we make these calls stop as I have been on the do not call list for years.

I answered and the caller disconnected.

They found out my debit card information! Idk how!!!! They said that they were charging me $500 because I was in the system of the company!!! I had to call my bank and block my card!

Six calls from this number today between 1 pm and 6:30. Initially stated u had been approved for a loan then continued to hang up.

Got several calls and when I answer they hang up. I called back asked to be removed and the man that answered was very rude and wouldn't transfer me to a supervisior and kept calling me his baby even after I asked me not to. Very rude and unprofessional.

I got a call from this person saying I have been approved for a $10,000 loan.  I told him no I had not requested a load and he said he had my loan application and I had been approved.  He said you don't want $10,000 - I told him no I don't like owing money and to get rid of anything about me and hung up.  Then a couple of hours later he called me back saying had called him last night approving a loan for him.  I told him he had just called me and he said no I had called him.  I told him I was not in that business and did not have money for loans.  He said How much money do you have.  I again told him to get rid of anything to do with me and hung up.

I received a call about dinner time from 312-788-9200. The Indian speaking man on the other end of the phone asked for my wife by name. This wasn't the first time I'd seen this number flash across my caller ID. The last time, after informing the caller (also a man with an Indian accent; could be the same man, but I am not certain) that my wife wasn't home, I was abruptly hung up on before I could ask if the caller wished to leave a message.  This time, before I answered his question, I asked the caller who was calling, to which he replied "David" or something to that effect, in an upbeat voice, trying to sound as if he were a friend.  I told David that I doubted my wife knew him, and that he should lose her name, lose my number, and never call again. I'm not sure if the caller is a scammer, a survey taker, or a salesperson dialing for dollars, but these calls are unwanted.
