Wow Helga. I did file a police report and Fairfax County police just got back to me and said that I should block their calls because the company is fake.

Just got the same guy and the same information. I told him never call me again. I know he will. I just block his number. They are collection agency. Do not pay them. Nothing they can do. They just  try to scare you. Tell them your telephone conversation is recording from police department and you filled a police report on them.

Received phone call from a Richard Mckinley 312-789-4890 states name of company is LMI Services, he has lft several messgages with my mom stating i have a claim and that the company is in process to proceed with legal and that they are a company that mediates between companies to help resolve, he stated I had wrote a check for Ace Cash Express and My Cash now, Ace Cash express do internet and walk in store fronts called them they stated i do not have an account with them, checked My cash now on internet, can't call them because they do not have a phone number they are all services so called by internet.

A man by the name of Richard McKinley called me today regarding a cash advance loan that I supposedly took out in 2011. Said they were with arbitration and they were loan mediators that were going to help me resolve this matter. Anyone ever had this guy call them?

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

My Mom has received 2 calls from them from 2 seperate numbers staeing she received money from cash now and didnt and they are going to file in court for defraud if she did not pay i told her that she is full of **** never received any type of money from cash now she proceded to state that is hard to prove and they have a good case bank statements are never wrong no money has been received from cash now and they wanted her to give payment over the phone ,(504)267-2380 214)856-8266 Courtney Wilcox, Samantha Stone I informed them 2 xs now that it has been turned over to the FBI and i am very aware of their scam

Yes, it is a scam. Here are some of the numbers they use (510)373-2702, (312) 548-3325 , (312)789-4890,(214)856-8266,(305)704-8185,(312)470-6115,(904)647-3304,(504)267-2380,(312)548-3338,(214)666-8337,(619)900-1644. Names they use :
Sophia Rodriguez, Agent Jones, Agent Clark, Agent Ashley Scott, Cynthia Lewis, Courtney Wilcox, Samantha Stone, and Lisa , no last name.

Received several calls with threat to serve legal sanctions for some pay day loan, which I never applied for

Called for an old friend. Told David Allen I hadn't heard from that guy for awhile. Hopefully they will remove many number.

So David Allen just called me as well. Im pretty sure its a scam. Any confirmation on that hunch though?

they said the same thing to me what i tell them is i have the police listening then they hang up it ascam.
