I keep receiving phone calls from this number at all hours.

I got a call from this number too...just blocked them

They got very rude to my son...not good....it could be direct TV, we've had them before and this is the number they have on file.

In your email program there is an option to send unwanted mail to a trash bin.  Procedures vary depending on which mail program you use but all are similar.  My email vender is local but has a contract with Google which also lets me select a specific sender (Copy/Paste)  and go on line to my account and create a filter.  Then I'll never see mail from that sender again.  Can even filter the whole domain if I want, or by key words etc.  Of course I have a second email address (it was free) that I give to businesses that I don't want bugging me.  It's never downloaded so I never see that either.  That's what I did for Direct TV.  All my phone calls go thru an answering machine that tells salesmen etc to stick it.  They never leave a message.  Friends and family just ignore the machine and leave messages.  (Businesses that I deal with know to leave a message)

Don't want any more calls from this number

I call 800-531-5000( DirectTV customer service) and ask them to put me on the do not call list. However, the staff said they need 6-8 weeks to do this.

Why? What make you so long? Do you need to create a system for your do not call list or there are too many people call back and ask you do the same things. I am so happy that I left DirectTV!

I am currently a DirecTV customer and received a call from this number. When I called back and the voice was different from the official DirecTV numbers, I called their main line and spoke with a customer representative. I told them about the call and gave them the number that had called me. After searching my account, they discovered that whomever had called was fraudulent. So beware of this number, they are not affiliated with DirecTV!

Also received a call. I periodically receive them, and I have to answer because of my work. I always throw them some BS about how I work for "the Government" and taxpayers pay for this phone, they stop calling. Then a few weeks later I get a call from a different phone number.

I also have gotten phone calls the past 2 days from this number.  It shows this number under incoming calls and yet under missed calls it shows 800-966-0755.  VERY VERY STRANGE.  SAME TIME.  SAME CALL.\
NO NAME OR COMPANY GIVEN SO I DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS.  BUT THEY DO NOT LEAVE MESSAGES.  VERY HARRASSING!!!!

Apparently the lied about the do not call list ... still getting calls from them days later

DirecTV trying to "win me back." I told them you have lied to be in the past and I will never do business with you again. A very polite girl took my number and said they would put it on a do not call list. Lets see if that works.

i answered and it was a like a 16 year old girl that was laughing and she didn't even make sense she didn't even give me her name or anything i just hung up

I just cancelled with DTV and they're trying to get us back.
I told them twice to remove my cell # and they still call.
They are avoiding the National Do Not Call list somehow.

DirecTV - After you cancel or put your account into vacation mode.
They will try to get you back with some sort of offer.
Just add this number to your phone with the name of  " Say no to dtv "

Returned the call after receiving 3calls from them. It is DirectTV and I asked them to remove me from their call list. How annoying!!!

To try stopping the calls,  try answering the call by pressing and holding a key on your phone so that it gives out a tone that sounds like a fax.  The robodialer should automatically remove a number that goes to a fax.  Might be worth a try!

Direct TV?  Well, that explains it.  The calls started after I cancelled them to go to Dish.  Maybe they should try putting things on tv thay people actually want to watch!!

I am so sick of these people from Directv, they have all kinds of offers only after I cancelled them and went with Dish Network. A case of "Too little too late"

It's DirecTV. It has nothing to do with money you owe them. They are trying to get your business back. I quit them about 6 months ago and they have hounded me ever since to come back. I get 1 e-mail a day from them, plus countless offer letters in the mail and phone calls. Wish I could figure out a way to make it stop.
