problem in my area isn't just ppl buying cigs with food stamps.. I know ppl who buy drugs with food stamps.. use their med cards to support their pill addictions... and sit on their rear ends getting phones free, electric bills paid, free food, all on my dime.. I can't afford insurance.. don't qualify for med card.. can't even smoke a joint or I'll fail my drug test at work.. My God.. Drug test these ppl. save my tax dollars.

I don't answer calls unless I recognize the number. 312 800-9085 didn't leave a message so I figured it was a scam. Thanks to everybody else who confirmed that.

If you have a smart phone then you can download an app call Mr.Number at the Play Store (Android) or similar with app with App.  It will tell you if the incoming call is a spam once people started to report that it is a spam.  And you can then put this number in the reject list on your phone and it will ring once next time they call and hangup on them.  Also, you can add any number that you want to block into the reject list.  

I wish this site or others have a uptodate list of numbers that we can see, download automatically to our smart phone under the reject list.  Someone should do this app!

Thought it was someone important -- 312 area code is Chicago, main part of the city.  But it sounds like a sales call from what others are saying.

Boy, are you ever sick! You obviously know nothing about phones for the elderly, handicapped etc. They are not given out willy nilly.
Further you know absolutely nothing about the various programs to help those in need.
This in the United States, we are not some third world country where people can die in the street and no one cares.

Mega spam!  When I questioned them asking what cruise promotion this was, the woman got angry, called me a f*cking s**t and hung up. Wish there was some way to report this!

Seriously?!?!?!  You have no idea what their situation is.  They could be using free internet at the library, or at a friend or family's house, or at work.  Way to make assumptions.

Called my cell. Left no message.

They called me while I was cooking dinner.  Since my hands were mashing up food, I did not answer.  I did sign up for cruise info from Norweigen and Carribbean Cruise lines, but I'm surprised they got my new phone number.  I always put in my old cell number so no one can sell my phone number and call me during dinner time!

Just got the call. No message left called back and is unreachable.

None of your business why this person has a government phone. And these days having internet is a necessity to find employment as most employers now require online applications.

Why do you need a govenment issue cell phone?  If you have internet, you should be able to pay for your own cell phone.
