Same thing but I have recently had my debit card number stolen so I thought it was going back to that. I informed them of the stolen card and that I didn't order anything and that they needed to stop the charge. She told me she's a grown freakin woman and I couldn't tell her what she will and won't do. I then asked for a supervisor and he asked if she was courteous and I said no and repeated what she told me and he said he was going to walk her off the floor and he wouldn't accept that. He then told me they couldn't stop the charge that I had agreed to. I told him to go ahead that it was a cancelled card due to fraud and to have fun and I could hear her cussing me in the back ground and he hung up. When you call back it gives the option to remove from a list. Didnt do it. After reading about this number it is a complete scam. Can't believe this is still operating. Get a real job and stop trying to steal my money. Low lives!!

Same experience ... the instant I asked for information a legitimate company would know,  the tone changed .... I said this was a scam and the tirade began in earnest ... Total criminals.

i got a call from a guy form 312 878 96754 asking me if i got my magazines in good conditions i said i do not subscribe to any magazine he said he has my credit card number on file and i can cancel my subscription and he knew it was visa card and first digit was 4 and then he asked me what was experation date i said he should know as he has the credit card info he said its marked by xxx after first digit so i played along and gave him experation date and then he said sorry computer would not open your profile could you read your whole card number left to right i got pissed off and knew right away it was a scam call i told him off in a very rude way that i will not give him my card number if i ordered magazines then he should have my billing info the thing that scared me was he knew my exact address and name and home phone after i yelled at him and told him off in my way .. he called 3 more times and just kept breathing in my ear that was very scary and upsetting  it took me long time to catch my breath and calm down i dono who these ppl are but they sure need to be caught and be brought to justice .

exactly what everyone is stating is the verbatim for what Tony, Jeremiah, Lily and Sarah all said to me in the space of 1 week!  I asked several times to be removed from the call list and each time they say I am sorry for the inconvenience! How is it that they get cell numbers?  

The latest one sarah, sounded so concerned that I was not removed from the list, that she is frustrated that people don't do their job on their side.  BlahBlah Blah!  Then she said she would give me a cancellation number for my records and all I would need to do is provide the 12 digit VISA beginning with a '4' and the expiration date.

Yeah ok..people are actually informed about these dumb a$$ companies who try to extort money from hard working people!

Sorry just correcting what I wrote, it's 2011 not 2010. sorry had a late night last night. Also they may try and verify your card info saying the first number is 4. No damn s*** all Visa's last four start with 4. Seriously people if you get this call don't verify a thing and make sure you monitor your bank accounts for the next few months.

New number for you guys 770 area code. 770 704 0349 Don't be fooled if the numbers varry; a lot of times these people have multiple numbers with the same first 3 to 6 digits but the last 7 to 4 will varry so that it seems like it's someone else. Don't answer, if you do don't confirm who you are, don't even verify your address. It is a scam, they want your info so they can steal your ID, or run up your credit cards. I called this number back after missing a call. They said I had ordered some magazine's and something about getting a better subscription. (I don't read magazines so this was clearly bs.) They said they needed to verify my information. That this wasn't a debt collection call. They had my old address, a lot of good that would do them. I asked to speak to a manager, they hung up. I called back several times from multiple numbers and got busy signals; it's 2010 what company dosn't have call waiting or at least a voicemail yet just another red flag that this was bogus. I did manage to get through later on that day and they again requested my information, I told them this was a fraudulent call and that I wasn't giving any info that I wanted to speak to a manager. She just laughed and then hung up on me. She even had the balls to say, "You can't just call any ol'e people and ask who they are without giving your information." Can you believe the irony in that s***. Both times it was a younger girl who answered with a thick southern accent. SCAM people stay away.

ok hears whats going on in my case.this man called me on the day i was geting married.he told me i was geting placed in a drawing for a 20,000 dollars in july,also he said i would receive a watch of my choice.ok so then he gose on to say that i would have to get the magz just to get enterd into the drawing.now by that time i knew he was full of bs and i told him no that was i ok.then he was like you can just try us out then if you dont want them you could stop the order befor the 3 days of your first magz.so i was like ok that cool.ok after some weeks went by they toke the money out of my account befor i even got a book or anything from them,i had had a number where it said that you can call this number befor 3 days to stop the order,so i called the number and it said it was a none working number i was like wht kind of crap is this i called that numberr back for hours and hours and still no luck.ok so i called my bank told them whats going on and very thing and they even tryed to call the number and they had no luck.so then the lady told me to try and call them once again so i did and finelly when i did get hold to someone and i ask them to stop payments they tryed to say they would lower the cost i was no i need it to stop.after a few mins i got tired of asking them to stop my payments so i ask to speak to the supervisor,they had me on hold for hours then came back on the line just to tell me that he/she wasnt in that i need to leave a number so i did.now months go by and now someone did call back her name was sherlean and she was like im the supervisor and you havent made a payment yet so i tell her the store what ever then she gose on to ask me my age and i told her and she was like well your young and i dnt think that you want that to go on your cerdit and we could take you to court and things like that nature.i was like go head because 1 i havent got magz the 5 magz that you said you sent me i only got 3 out of 5 2 you said i was going to give me a watch that never showed up 3 you didnt get even live up 2 your word and when i tryed to contaced you guys no answer so what ever by that time i was geting a lil angery for the simple fact is that this women is telling me im a lire and that it he say she say stuff.now i get this call again from another person from that 312 number and they asked me how go girls performance was when she spoke with me and my phone had said 3 way call so i said she was ok up intill a point then then they ask me what happend i said she said she was going to take me to court then they hung up when i tryed to call the number back it didnt even go throw.this company really needs to go down big time i dnt know how or why its even up still,this company thinks just beacuse you had made a deal with them that they can do what ever they want and take peoples money and not have to pay a dim.i would have been gladly pay my magz payments would have be glad to but why pay for something your not getting???thats not how i role im a young soon to be mother and wife that can be spending my money on something else.this company is a bully.

this # called me 2x in the past 2 days. yesterday a ignorant sounding woman asked for me by name and i said yes, then she abruptly hung up. the same number called today and i did not answer, i am so glad i came to this site to see that the people connected with this number are up to NO GOOD!! just let the phone ring and do not answer it.

Just got this call--I've been "had" before with another magazine agency (or perhaps the same one under a different name) so I was ready for them.  The woman said she was from "the magazine publisher", at which point I broke in and asked if it really was the publisher or if it was another scamming subscription agency.  That rattled her a little, but she began asking about whether I was still reading the magazines I had ordered.  She began to list them--one is a magazine that hasn't been in business for several years; another I didn't renew 2-3 years ago and haven't been getting; a third I was sent through one of these scams and was able to get the magazine to cancel.  (By the way--it helps with the magazines themselves, if you point out that you've been sent the magazine without your knowledge or authorization--and that if they won't cancel it themselves, then it appears they are in collusion with these subscription agency scams!  The threat of the BBB helps, too.)

Anyway, I now tell all of 'em that I refuse to handle purchases or subscriptions over the phone.  Then I hang up.

Called twice. at the beginning of the call, i was transfered to some "level 5" supervisor and was asked if his trainee was courtiousasked if my magazines were arriving ok. he told me that there were complaints in my area that the magazines were arriving torn up or not at all.  i told him i had not recieved any and to cancel whatever magazines were ordered.  they told me that the "30 day cancellation period" has passed and gave me some garbage about the magazines had already been ordered through the publishing company.  .  do not confirm anything or give out any information.

THIS COMPANY  CALLED ME ASKING IF MY MAGAZINES WERE COMING IN GOOD CONDITION AND I ASKED WHAT MAGAZINES, (AS I AM NOT RECEIVING ANY)  THEN THE LADY YES YOU ARE TERRA AND HUNG  UP.  IF I GET A CHARGE ON MY DEBIT CARD, I AM GOING TO BE ONE MAD GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The supervisor named Alex working on 8/11/2011 at 6pm eastern -- cut me off while talking, screamed at me and then hung up on me when I was trying to get further information on why he was calling. I am try to find out what the name of the company is!

Very similar experience.  This was the second time they tried calling me.  The one magazine they could tell me was one I bought a Groupon for, but haven't yet started receiving.  The real company that I ordered from wasn't all that helpful, saying they don't give out any information.  Clearly, they got it from somewhere.  I keep getting disconnected, they called back the first time, still waiting for another call.

alright, this is what i understand. it is a big scam, they got me. they tolde me that some company offered me a 30 day free trial for some magazines. this made sense to me because of some other telemarketer i was getting US weekly. I thaught it was from them. they transfered me over to 2 different people to make it seem like like i was important but they scammed me. they said that because i did not cancel the free trial that i had to pay like 50 bucks a month but they could lower it for me. the next day i find out that i was actually paying US weekly directly so they were lying to me. they said that unless i lower the payment, they would automatically chage my bank account and that they had my cradit card number. THEY LIED. they also said that if i changed my credit card number that they would find my new one. THEY LIED AGAIN.  then they said that if i did not cooperate then they would take my money when i filed for taxes. my stupid a** believed them. dont fall for it! even though they claim they have my credit card numer, they asked me to verify it. they said "the first number starts with 4" all of them do, so i gave them the number and the experation date. i asked, " dont you have this already?" and they sayd" yes but it is in astricks on our computer". So they claim that their privacy policy does not allow them to see the number. they charged my acount and i fought back once realised they can't do that. if you call back the number it is just an automation saying "if you dont want our special offers than press one" or somethin like that. I eventually got their office phone number from another telemarketer that was trying to rob me. some discount travel service or some s*** like that. their main office number is (303) 623-3199. once i told them that they were steeling money from my account they told me that they had me on recording giving my credit card number. I told her that they tricked me and i i want my money back. i tried to explain the story to her in a nutshell nut my anger mixed with my limited vocabulary made me sound dumb. she still gave me back my money. it turns out that if you call them within 7 days you automatically get your mony back. she also claims that what the original telemarketers told me about being forced to pay for 2 years was a lie and that she would report it. from what i understand about this place is that they use that contract excuse to sell. dont believe it. it is all a lie and i got trciked but you can get your money back. i got my money back easly but if you get your money stolen i would first call your state atorny general. this number is a 312 area code so i am asuming that those who get the call are near chicago. this is a link to a complaint form for the state of illinois. http://illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/consumers/conscomp.pdf this is only for those who live in illinois. this place originates in colerado so if you are from a state other than illinois that look up your states attorny general.  THE ONLY WAY TO GET THESE PEOPLE IS TO CONTACT THE STATE ATORNY GENERAL!

Just got a call from them and was told I was past my cancellation time, so they are going to charge me... I'm FURIOUS and hung up on them.  The supervisor tried to tell me that I must have authorized them to take money out at some time, and that I had 30 days to cancel, but was already past that time and there was no way to reverse it.  I'm closing my account immediately!!

Just received a phone call from the same person mentioned and she was extremely rude!! I told her we don't receive those magazines and she proceeded to be extremely rude and then hung up on me before I could even ask her what company she works for!!! Scam....simple as it is.If you receive a similar phone call,please do not give any information to them!!!!

Just call the number back and you'll get the option to have your number deleted. It's a scam to get you to pay for magazines they said you ordered. I never liked magazines piling up in my house, so I don't get them. They couldn't tell me I did!

I think we got the same "lady" for our calls. Like you I got a call from this number and the women was the most infuriating piece of s*** I've ever had call. When I told her I was not putting my husband on the phone (he was at work) and I wanted to know what company she was calling from and we are on the DNC list she blew up and told me "I'm not F***in talkin to you". So I hung up. She immediately called back and started again so I told her to F off and hung up again. We received another call two hours later when no one was home and she proceeded to leave a voice mail that went like this "Hi _____, it's Vanassa. I know you told me not to call this number but I wanted to talk to you. You're wife picked up earlier and was soo rude to me. But I just had to let you know what a wonderful night I had last night and can't wait to hook up with you again, hopefully tonight". My husband and I had a good laugh about that one until he realized some other guys wife would probably freak out and the husband would be in the dog house.  PS. They do not stop calling, I've called back and tried to remove my number and they just keep coming.

These people caused my cell phone number, and asked how I liked my magazine subscriptions.  I am not receiving any magazines nor have I subscribed to any.  I told her so.  Before it was over with the woman was screaming at me that I had better pay for the magazines because I had subscribed to them, and if I didn't do so they would ruin my credit rating.  The spooky thing about this is that they knew my name, cell phone number and home address.  She refused to tell me what company she was with or leave her name or phone number.  This is a rip off people!  Beware!  Don't give them any info.

I got a call from this number (312-878-9654) and I knew that 312 is Chicago and I have friends there so I picked up. There was a pause so I knew right then this was a robo-call. A black woman came on the line and asked for a William, I replied "how can I help you?" not saying I was or was not William. She told me she was form the collections dept from some Publications company and wanted to discuss the bill for the Magazines I was getting, I replied "What Magazines?" She said the 3.99 per Magazine of the 5 Mags I was getting. I told her that I had no idea what she was talking about; before I could finish she yelled "Then I guess you'd be ok with the 49.99 rate per title that i am going to charge you!" I replied Since I am not William I hope he wont be mad at me for what you do" She hung up.

Same here. I told them I never ordered or inquired about anything. They even had my old address and debebit card info. After arguing with them and going no where they charge my account 49.99 it has been processing for about a full 3 days now and I can get it taken care of until it's processed and I desperately need that money back!
And if you call the number back it asks if you want to be placed on a do not call list then disconnects the call, no way to talk to anyone.

Same thing happened to me. 2nd call. This time, they call then have you verify with a supervisor  that the guy was curteous over the phone. Of course they told me that my acct starts with #4. Don't they all? They've called a couple of times before, & haven't answered.
Then they waned the expiration date on my card?
It's hard enuf that oil companies & big business are trying to take your last damn dollor without these idiots trying a magazine scam.....

exact same thing happened to me she said she is gonna charge it to my credit card and it starts with 4 and say the rest of the numbers and that i entered the information on the internet i know i did not enter a visa card on internet so idk i say scam STAY AWAY

Did they ever stop calling?  I keep asking them to be placed on the do not call list and they call everyday.  Today the person on the other end told me to put my husband on because "he was a big boy and could speak for himself".  I asked the name of the company and she told me to "grow up".  I'm FURIOUS!
