If you ever get get a call requesting that you respond by pressing a digit or number, HANG UP right away!. If you do respond by pressing a number, you may not be pleased when you receive a humongus phone bill for a call to some foreign offshore number. Beware, this type of scam hit my office a few months ago!

Juat got a message saying I or a family member had entered a competition at Wal-Mart, Sears or Zellers and have won a prize of an all-inclusive trip to Cancun. Press 1 to accept, 2 to decline. I hung up without pressing these numbers. They are after our visa numbers.

saying I got a trip to cancun the number is 1-312-878-9727 when you press 1 they say they can't do that right now and hang up . must be some kind of scam.

I got a call from them and it was SOS Marketing or something like that, offering a cruise. They said to press 3 to opt out, so I did, and it gave a weird error message about the number I was trying to dial.

I just got a call from the same number. They claimed I "won" 2500$ towards a vacation to Mexico. They claimed a "friend or family member" submitted my name and number into a draw in a Walmart, Sears or Zellers store. I know this is b***s***, I can't believe it's legal.

I just got a call from 312-878-9727, it was an auto-message saying Canadian Tire, Zellers and somewhere else is having some contest. They said my name was submitted at a kiosk and I was chosen a winner of 1600 travel dollars for a trip to Cancun. Press 1 to speak with someone if I want the trip. I just hung up. Probably a scam.

I think this is a marketing number. I wish I knew how to prevent them from calling.
